Pandemic of Covid-19 in the last 2 years become the most causes of people death across the world, particularly for adult people (primary on person with complicated diseases). The problem make about 28000 children become orphan, based on Indonesia's national government. Despite the government give material support thorough various programs to solve the problems, the "gap" in orphan's life and development probably occur and can make few to significant problems on some aspects like education, economy, social, and more.
Generally, in East Java (Indonesia), more than 50% of people (above 10 years old) are never accessing high (undergraduate) education, with around 22% are even has no educational degrees. Based on our limited observation (done in orphanages located 3 cities in province of East Java), the problems actually had been done even before pandemic, when orphan (especially who lives in orphanage) can not develop themselves compared with the same people with the same age period.
In this context, specifically, we note the "gap" in education access as the root cause, which probably create bigger problems in the future of orphan's life. Though digital education has been widely implemented, the learning mindset and environment is not good delivered yet to the orphanage, resulting in low development and high addiction to people around them.
The solution started from an idea to connect better communities to underserved communities, especially in children and teenage age. Our community become a "bridge" and "channel" from the underserved people to get an access for obtaining skill and knowledge, supporting and improving their lives quality, to educated and expert youth.
The community not only provide an access, but also enhance the quality of self-improvement and education. We pair the an orphan with a volunteer with certain purposes and tasks, which engage them to improve themselves together. Team-based model implemented which involve orphan and young people to create projects together and get benefits from those. Modern approach on education also applied, called by Capstone project, that engage the orphan (and also the youth people) to solve the problem around them with brilliant idea. All activities will be managed and monitored by digital systems, which provide many functionable features to both the orphanage and the mentor and communities volunteer.
The main target of our community are not only orphans, either they who lives in orphanage or not, but also teenage (as volunteer). Generally, in our states, the orphan has low-developed in many aspects of lives, including education, technology application, social life, networking, durability, and many more. We conclude that they have no experience in solving complex problems, and has no skill for developing and executing the design-thinking-based activity. Based on our observation, the "gap" and limitation which occur in their communities depend on the access of good education and connection with the "right" people. So, our community will create the access and enhance the "flow of benefits" across the two or more different communities which connected.

The limitation on accessing educated and expert young practitioner which relate with potency and interest of orphans, so we hope Solve can accommodate and connecting the needed people to our communities

Main idea of our solution is connecting two communities (one categorized as underserved, and the other is better, filled by young educated and expert. The solution provided different approach, since the other communities in the same field, as long as we know, just deliver material support without sustainable activity developing orphans. Specifically, our community connect the orphans with their respective interest, based on their aspiration and objective assessment on predicting career path.
The development program then provided which based on two approach, consists of team-based learning and capstone project. The orphans are encourage to connect with the other orphans (from the different orphanages or schools) and develop teamwork for both answering certain problems in communities and enhancing their skill for achieve successful career.
Moreover, adapting with significant growth on technology, our community will manage all development program through software-based platform on mobile phones. The one of meaningful features on the software is encouraging the participants to make impacts, becoming an actor in actual challenges on their environment.

- Reach 100 orphans joined mentorship and development program provided by our communities, connected each other with a software-based platform accessed by their respective mobile phones

- Success to develop 3 capstone project which sustain and impactful

- Get legal permission as non-governmental organization (NGO) from Indonesian government
- Reach 1000 orphans joined mentorship and development program provided by our communities
- Expand to 10 more region for obtaining wider impact

- Collaborate with universities for better service on development program

Our software-based development program focused on monitor and encourage the users on developing habit and do their strategic milestones on achieving their dreams. Moreover, the program not only focused in self development on users, but also encouraging the communities need, particularly on activities which involved in SDGS

Our communities encourage each people participated having sense of belonging on communities itself and between each other. Furthermore, each people has freedom to share their idea about the community, without considering the background and any subjective consideration.
Moreover, our community is open to collaborate with any other community, especially which good criteria as young educated and expert people/institutions.
