The AAA Solution
Youths in underdeveloped and underserved communities, between the ages of 5-18 have missed opportunities of meaningful social and emotional learning due to a lack in technological learning software, expert human resources, and a culturally informed response. As a result, are now experiencing, low self-esteem, behavior problems, mental illness, illiteracy, and failure to thrive or develop their own potential. Especially those youths living in unsafe and unhealthy environments.
To improve this racial disparity and severe inequity through this provided resource (wellness watch) which is designed to enhance cognitive development in school age children to adulthood, to help promote a culture of equity and inclusion as well as advocate for culturally competent learning, using advanced technology and innovative resources which leverage artificial intelligence with mobile connectivity to encourage life span development through prompts, reminders, reinforcements, images and assessments pre-installed within the "wellness watch".

According to www.teachthought.com
“Assimilation of knowledge occurs when a learner encounters a new idea and must ‘fit’ that idea into what they already know.
In other words, these youths who are living in the underdeveloped and underserved communities will finally have access to new, innovative, and evidence based learning styles in a cost effective way with the proper resources to complete the development of the "wellness watch"
Our team at YWI wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in our community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy, outreach activities, wellness plans, self care, emotion regulation group sessions, partnerships and collaborations, we work tirelessly each day, to contribute our part to the greater good by reducing the number of suicides in our region and therefore our evidence based outcomes better equips us to develop this solution with the right manpower, partnerships and resources.
- Facilitate meaningful social-emotional learning among underserved young people.

We are applying to solve because our team is made up of innovators, researchers, problem solvers, philanthropists, clergy, community leaders, mentors, coaches, caregivers, peers, and advocates, all who want to do their part in helping to enhance the lives of others. We are all in favor and encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion in all forms of education for all people who desires to learn. Solve gives us the opportunity to spread our wings and our mission of hope. We specifically need program funding and international connections to discuss and set-up micro-marketing in an underdeveloped region. We need people to work in HR overseas and in the U.S. If our solution is chosen Solve will provide us with a complete needs assessment.
- Financial (e.g. improving accounting practices, pitching to investors)
What makes our solution innovative is the market itself. These users are considered the underdeveloped and therefore this is an open market. This is an untouched environment and our solution introduces "new stimuli" which will increase interest and generate a broader positive impact from all who participate or partner in our efforts to produce this learning accessory.
Our first goal is to be picked up by MIT Solve or whomever are willing to further research and implement our solution. We hope develop, design and secure a funder for our solution within this first year and set up several micro-marketplaces and workshops in underdeveloped regions.
We will use a the same strategy we currently use to measure progress.
•First intake assessment which list a desired and achievable outcome and date.
•Pre-Test •Second intake assessment which will measure desired outcomes.
•Quarterly Review where comparison is made between the first and second assessment.
There is strong evidence that critical thinking, information processing, self awareness, and emotion regulation are prerequisites to effective learning. Many psychological theories that exist have documented evidence based outcomes that discuss the benefits of acquiring these prerequisites. Our theory is simple, We believe that with the right resources and the right motivation, any child, anywhere, can learn how to complete learning assignments and individual tasks with help from technology.
The invention and development or the "wellness watch" is our innovative choice.
