Youth Future Development via CTN 360 mobile app
Youth Future Development solves multiple socio-economic issues. We aim to reduce the Low literacy and high level of unemployment amongst teenagers and youth especially, those in deprived communities.
Our goal is to:
1.Increase digital literacy rate amongst teenagers and youth.
2.Provide free digital training for Individual with financial difficulties. (Single-parent household will be given priority)
3.Provide free digital training Unemployed youth seeking to obtain skills for the job market.
4. Provide free digital training Individuals who have a passion to purse IT career but have no tuition fee.
5.Youth with a social enterprise on their businesses and give them an avenue to advertise on the CTN 360 app
Our Solution focuses on training Individuals on digital literacy skills and also giving them a platform to look for a job or advertise their own jobs on our CTN 360 mobile app.
CTN 360 is a multi-purpose mobile app designed to give users a platform to connect with members of the organization, collaborate on projects and events as well as utilize services provided by other institutions. The app is designed to support the youth, individuals, students and businesses with resources needed to excel in their careers, improve their general health, provide networking opportunities and to connect socially..Equip underserved teenagers and youth with training and resources that will aid in securing a career and improve their wellbeing in the society.
YFD Serves the following people:
1.Teenagers and Youth searching for careers.
2.Underserved schools without library and /or computer lab.
3.Underserved schools without career counseling
4. College Graduates looking to gain digital literacy skills.
5. Underserved schools or orphanage in the community.
The solution will grant them the needed skillset in securing a career and also, the CTN 360 APP will provide available jobs for them to apply.
Our team consist of management and trained IT professionals. Our management team includes our CEO, Operations, project managers who have experience in executing our previous programs such as Ghana Trade Exhibition and Career Development Seminar since 2019,2020 and 2021. Our IT professionals are qualified degree holders with knowledge and expertise in the field of ICT. Our IT Tutors are sent to specific schools to train teenagers and youth on how to use Microsoft office suite, Graphic design and web design. A collaborative effort between our management team and IT professionals makes CTN competent and qualified to execute this project.

With our goals listed below. We believe the resources (training and Funding) provided by MIT SOLVE Challenge will enable us achieve this goal.
1.CTN plans on expanding YFD to other deprived communities in 2023 to help the youth who are unable to further their education but have a passion for Graphic and Web Design. Students who want to start their own business after completion will be given additional support by CTN.
2.Student learners who want to work with other organizations will be given priority by companies who donate or partner with CTN during any of our training workshop.
3.As an organization, we look forward to establishing our IT hub with a library where students will get access to research, learn and have educational interaction.
4.Our CTN 360 mobile app will have an e-learning feature/ tab where student learners can easily review recorded training sessions or join live training session.

The CTN 360 App provides the youth with job access, support them with applications and recommendations to bid for available roles or advertise their start-up business to their targeted public.
Our impact goal for the next year and next five years is to reduce unemployment among underserved youths and increase literacy level among teenagers and the youth. We will achieve this by having more career and mentorship guidance mentorship programs to prepare youth on job search, interview techniques and job retention strategies.

Resources Inputs- For these parts we are seeking funding, collaborations, partnerships, and awards to have impactful work in our intervention areas and student learners. CTN is working in Ghana for the youth empowerment through uplifting the education standards, skills-training and acquainting them with the digital-learning skill set. Resources, student learners ready to learn new skill or already skilled yet to find employment. Equipment for training, literature(books), learning materials, grantors ready to support the initiative, training room (site) professional tutors and counselors.
Activities: CTN opts a multipronged approach where its multiple committees work on youth, gender, and health issues for provision of better life and equality. CTN has been undertaking several steps to elevate the understanding and skill set of youth in Ghana. Digital training, Career, mental health session, financial planning seminars are all activities that will result in self-sufficient youth. A detailed summary and pictorial evidence can be observed at our digital media.
Outputs: Student learners (teenagers & youth) are our beneficiaries. At the end of our program. Our student learners either graduate with certificate of completion for the course, gain knowledge on basic IT skills (word, excel, PowerPoint), graphic design, website and gets placed to firms for internship to gain hands-on experience.
Outcomes: At the end of the training, we aim to have student leaners that are job ready and competent to work in most firms at entry level administrators. The skills acquired during the training will be an add-on to resumes of student learners and a marketing point to career opportunities we connect them to.
Impact: The long run substantial impact will be made not only to our student learners but to the communities we served. This is because not only will the student learners acquire a skillset; it will increase high school & college graduation rate amongst our youth & student learners. With an increase in college and skilled grads, youth will have a higher chance of gaining employment in job market which will lead to highly improved well-being generation of self-sufficient youth in underserved communities in Ghana.

Our business model is the CTN 360 which is an all-rounder mobile app designed to give users a platform to connect with members of the organization, collaborate on projects and events as well as utilize services provided by other institutions. The app is designed to support the youth, individuals, students and businesses with resources needed to excel in their careers, improve their general health, provide networking opportunities and to connect socially.
Our key beneficiaries are graduates and youth who are unemployed in the society.
The app is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple Store.

Connect Trade Network, a growing organization at its infant stage, plans to create partnerships and search for funds from donors and grantors to stay alive to empower underserved populations. .
We also plan on partnering with other organizations who will be interested in helping the organization grow by they providing support in cash or kind.
In 2023, we plan to charge users on the app a subscription fee of $5 a year to keep maintaining the job search and eLearning feature.
Over the years, the board members of CTN have been supporting the organization financially. Other corporate organizations have supported CTN with financial needs to keep the organization running.
We receive in-kind donation from salesforce CRM (10 free licenses annually) for our database to keep track of our works and stakeholders.We also get in-kind donation from QuickbOOKS.
One of CTN's partners, Benny Osbon Limited donated funds to help in creating the CTN 360 APP and we look forward as an organization to get more support from other partnering firms who will not only support us financially but also give the youth more job opportunities.
