Over 290 Million Children and Youth Are Out of School according to UNESCO 2020, and UNICEF report, 

10.5 million of the country’s children aged 5-14 years are not in school. Only 61% of 6 to 11-year-olds regularly attend primary school. 
Some states in the north east and north west of the country have more than half of the girls not enrolled in schools as marginalization ensures that girls are deprived of basic education. 

This struggle was going on prior to COVID-19 to ensure young children stay in school and have access to proper education, as Nigeria contributes approximately 20% of the total global out-of-school population. 
On 19 March 2020, the Federal Ministry of Education approved school closures as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Nigeria educators are having it difficulty connecting with their students in traditional classroom as schools have shut-down to avoid the spread of the corona virus. 

In response to school closures, many eLearning platforms, TV and Radio Program for live Teaching have been launched to limit the disruption of education. 

YET THIS HAVE NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM IN AFRICA.
WHY?
• The purchase of radios or TV became a trade-off that cannot be afford by families that earn below $1 per day and faced harsh economic realities due to the lockdown in the state. 
Another major challenge became indigent children and people in underserved communities who do not have access to TV and Radio.
• Unequal access to technology: Lack of access to technology or good internet connectivity is an obstacle to continued learning.
• Unequal access to educational learning resources: Lack of digital quality and comprehensive educational resources.
• Device Challenge: Many students do not have their own computer system or smart phone.
• Power Challenge: Most part of African especially the rural area does not have regular electricity supply.

We aims to provide quality education and learning process to all the children, especially for the most needy children and families because education is a right and everybody have the right to access a quality education.

We make a particular accent on the Girl Child Education and that is why we promise to give a scholarship to every girl child who subscribe to our website, particularly those in certain regions of Africa where the girl child is denied easy access to affordable and quality education.

I understand that the middle to low income earners child, do not have access to quality education in many parts of Nigeria and by extension Africa as a result of imbalance government policy. I understand this because I am one of the people who have gone through that phase. That is why we came up with IQLESSON solution in order to deploy quality education content starting with the underserve communities in my country, this will integrate school and student irrespective of their location. I believe I am well positioned to deliver this solution because I understand the problem and how to go about solving them because I am part of the community where it's most affected.

Also, my team members are made up of experts in various education institutions and government ministry, also IT professionals domiciled in various fields that make up our services, with not less than 6+ years of experience. 

So far we have partnered with over 1200 certified teacher, who will create contents that meets standard using the country's academic curriculum. We are also engaging with over 7600 students from 20 schools in my community who were actively contributing during the ideation, testing/modelling and active development of our solution.

I hope to gain Entrepreneurial skills and knowledge on business management such as business financing, marketing, staffing and scaling up of business. I believe that through networking and interactions with likeminded persons, I will appreciate how similar businesses are run elsewhere and how challenges are addressed. I hope to acquire more Leadership skills which will enable me lead my team better, and encourage them to work together for prosperity of business. My entry into the programme will hopefully enable me acquire more skills and experience in running a education based business so as to impact the education sector positively.

Getting this opportunity will be of a great benefit to me because it will link me up with other entrepreneurs and I will learn from their best practices in mitigating challenges they face and other innovations. I hope to share my experience with them too, so we can learn from each others with good feedback on how to improve our business. Part of the Iqlesson models propose to provide scholarship opportunity to indigent students or pupils from underserved communities by virtually enrolling them into our partners schools where they will have to learn virtually, take exams from the school, level up and graduate. We will achieve this by providing customized learning content from the school, either in offline format(customized tablets, customized storage devices with software) and/or online format(Streaming & Live Class). The student will not be required to ever travel all the way to the school to study but their will be a form of collation center in the served community where they will be guided and coached periodically on how to about everything.

This will improve the economic live of people in underserved communities.

One of the most important reason Iqlesson is establish is to bridge the educational gap between the rich and the poor. To make it possible for the students and potential students to have access to the best class of teacher/tutors, best academic content and enjoy the ease of learning in their comfort zone. To mitigate the effect of future lockdown, strike action imposed by educational organization and the government.

In this regards, for the next 12 - 24 months, iqlesson seek to empower over 3 million pupils across Nigeria, targeting mostly out-of-school students. We also look forward to partner with 10,000 schools within the country most especially the Northern Nigeria where there are too many underserve communities. Iqlesson will provide more jobs opportunities for non-academic workers in the communities where we operate and also be a source of more unlimited residual income for competent teachers working with us.

For the five year, hope to have expanded our operation to Ghana and Kenya with hundreds of thousands of schools enrolled and and working with our solutions which will in turn change the live of millions of underserved populations in these countries.

E-learning makes use of many technologies – some of which have been developed specifically for it, whilst others conveniently complemented the learning process.

There are also some technologies that work in a complementary manner to other software and enable new features, for example third party APIs that adds a whiteboard on your video conferencing tool to allow you or your peers to make changes on other people’s work for review, or screen-sharing which allows someone to make a presentation while still making comments and giving input using the microphone.

The data is stored in the database and the software's backend provides a user interface for you to add, update and delete data. Finally, Iqlesson aspire to bring quality education to the underserved population, primary(Basic) and Secondary(High School) pupils in the rural areas with inadequate access to technologies that enhance quality education. Iqlesson is a proficient platform birthed to enable learning in Africa without the underlying limitations (power challenge, Internet and learning content), this assist in solving the problem created by the global pandemic.

My first plan for becoming financially sustainable is by Living Below my Means, I try as much as possible to spending less than I earn. 

I create a budget - make a list of all my monthly expenses, my total monthly income, and put a spending plan in place to correct my challenges. I also try not to get hung up on budgeting too much.
Lower my bills – Living, food, transportation, and utility bills and prioritizing savings.
I build financial plan - By not planning, I put my finances  at risk because I don’t understand exactly what is going on or what the impact might be in other areas.
I find a way to earn more money - A big part of becoming more financially sustainable is earning more money. There are numerous ways I can do so leveraging my business progress.

I have been implementing my plan for financial sustainability listed above and these have help me to sustain my living expenses and business which is funded through my personal income.
