For many years, pregnant women and children under the age of five have experienced Anemia due to a lack of health facilities and health education such as Nutrition food. Globally every 3 pregnant women 1 suffer from Anemia, In Tanzania, almost 57% of pregnant women and 58% of children under five age suffer from anaemia in Tanzania each year causing premature labour, rupture of membranes, eclampsia, low birth weight, stillbirth and 14.5% maternal deaths(WHO report 2021).
By using solar-powered motorcycles Agki medical laboratory offers digital mobile clinics for anaemia patients’ especially pregnant women and children under the age of five years living in rural communities by providing Health education, affordable Hemoglobin test and drugs such as folic acid. The service we reduce transport costs to our customers, save time to our customers and can able to access through their mobile phone, By booking services through our website.

By using solar-powered motorcycles we are able to go door to door in order to save the life of pregnant women and children under five ages living in rural communities by providing affordable haemoglobin tests, free health education and folic acid for those with low blood levels hence reducing maternal deaths caused with anaemia, update 6000 pregnant women and children improve their health status participating in economic activities and reducing national burden in the health sector.
When we get collaboration with MIT to solve we expect to get a mentorship program and exposure which able us to company growth and expand from Tanzania to Rwanda and Kenya.
