TITI
There are more than 1 billion people aged 60 years or older, with most living in low- and middle-income countries. Ageing of the population will affect labor and financial markets, the demand for goods and services, and how family structures and intergenerational ties work. Aging is often seen as an added burden on society given that it poses financial pressures un terms of pensions, health services, and long-term care. Many older people don't have access to even the basic resources necessary for a healthy, productive, meaningful and dignified life. It's also well described that there is great inequality between countries and in within countries, with is also true and even worse for the ageing populations.
Silver economy is unexplored and unexploited by the markets, specially in low and middle-income countries (In Europe, Silver Economy have a market size around 3.7 trillion Eur in 2015, and is projected to reach 5.7 trillion by 2025, with an annual growth rate of 5% )
The United Nations Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2030) is a global collaboration, aligned to brings together governments, civil society, international agencies, professionals, academia, the media, and the private sector to improve the lives of older people, their families, and the communities in which they live. Titi is born as a potential solution to bring all the relevant stakeholders on the table and bring innovation and welfare to the elderly in underserved communities.
Titi is an integrative innovation. We are looking to create an ecosystem where the data we are generating and the ecosystem around our app will have an impact on the health and well-being of people as they age with specific benefits to different actors using TITI:
- For the Senior Citizens who are looking to age healthy and with dignity TITI provides a tailored experience where him/her can express how are his/her feelings, follow up on medical prescriptions, healthy routines, social activities, and interaction with existing local resources.
- For the family member who is looking to keep the quality-of-life standards of their loved ones and most of the times has not direct access to their day-to-day activities, health related events and challenges.
- For government and nonprofits organizations that need valuable information for the design, management and implementation of public policies, programs and initiatives for the senior citizens TITI provides data.
- For Service/support providers who need access to new markets, improve their processes, manage their resources in a better way and simplify communication with the family, TITI Provides a platform where they can fine-tune their value proposition according to socio geographic trends produced by the platform.
We are building an App where senior citizens interact with their immediate environment (support system, government programs, relatives, doctors, volunteering, etc.…) that will allow them to live and active aging and unleash the potential they have on/and after retirement.
With the data collected We will build not only the Quality of Life Index but a holistic view of the Senior Citizen: demographic characterization, health, inclusion, empowerment among others.
The data will serve as the input/source to design policies, programs, characterization, research, socialization, and inclusion and most importantly helping communities to deploy initiatives around friendly cities for the silver economy.
The app will serve Senior citizens from 65 years and older there is not geographic restriction.
We are currently piloting the solution in Colombia, South America in an underserved population designated to identify not only their current status but also identifying demographics, habits, geriatric valuation, morbidity among others.
By implementing TITI in a greater scale we will provide the main decision makers with the data needed to deploy programs / initiatives that create real impact in their lives.
Our team expertise is specific to the older population. We have academic, clinical, public health, management, health economics and technology development capabilities to generate solutions to the most prevalent and urgent needs of the elderly. Also to develop solutions for the oportunities brings to the society. We've been working directly with very high risk communities and support center for homeless elders. (How to use relevant data to understand the specific needs of their patients and how to implement quality and improvement programs to foster the existing programs). We are also advising local goverments of Armonía , Quindio Colombia in how to embrace the specific public policy and high impact programs for 50.000 elder in the city.

As an immigrant to USA, I have been exposed to the process of creating opportunities to thrive, I've worked on several areas from being a floor assistant to be an entrepreneur creating my own Company.
I think technology adoption will transform the way we conduct our life. It not only about learning platforms, functions or processes, It is also about sharing knowledge, collaborate and interact across different countries and cultures, and of course bridging knowledge sources with individuals that maybe, will never have access to meet them.
One of the many lessons I have learned is that most of the times the success of implementing an IT Based solution doesn’t rely on the IT itself, it involves the integration of different cultures, theory of change and most important trust: trust in people, processes and data.
We believe that technology enhances the opportunity to integrate people from different geographic zones regardless ethnicity, race, sex or religion.
