The main problem to be solved?
• Difficulty to reach or access medical services within a specific region conveniently.
• Poor brand visibility of available medical facilities ,obstetricians, gynecologists, mid wives, lab
techs, counselors and ultrasound facilities.
• Increased unemployment rates within the country for medical practitioners
Our project is unique and innovative:
It is very interactive creating a personal feel that any person can relate with in their native region boosting
ease of access to the available services at the same time promoting local content and medical advice.
Traffic is channeled to the website using QR codes that are mounted on densely populated regions or
transport systems.
Mtaah mobile app has been developed to ensure ease of use and access of the site by the patients.
3.2 Data protection & data privacy
Mtaah doc has a robust digital backbone to improve the quality of care to pregnant women. It primarily
increases the engagement of pregnant women in digital healthcare having a strong technical component
that stores and protects data:
• The system is maintained in Kenya.
• It comprises of several technical components which have been integrated through adoption of

• It automatically backs up data whenever its online. Data relating to diagnosis is privately shared
with the care providers.

The population the system serves are able to access services and products conveniently on the platform. At the same time it creates a revenue generating channel that will enable people to earn on commission basis for the number of businesses they bring on the platform.
