Healthcare at Home
Nowadays, it's been hard to get doctor appointments and emergency services quickly. Again, personal care, mental health support, home services, and emergency ambulance are not available everywhere.
- In many families nowadays, if any family member falls ill, the sick person needs medical attention. But do not go to the doctor at the right time because no one is present in the house who will immediately take you to the designated place to take the doctor's services. In other words, there is a lack of people to take the patient to receive assistance in case of emergency because he is busy in his working life. Due to these, the disease of the sick person becomes the cause of deeper problems. Many even lost their loved ones because they did not receive treatment at the right time.
- Nursing services are needed for that sick person in the room next to the hospital, which are not readily available at home. As a result, it is found that many people waste their precious time taking them to certain places. Moreover, many people get sick again due to the journey going to a specific location.
- Many are immobile, and some older people cannot move. Getting them to a specific diagnostic center can be challenging if they need to be diagnosed. And it is not possible to take it due to lack of time. These problems lead to many neglects and a lack of proper treatment for the disease. Therefore, it is seen that the disease causes severe damage.
- Many older people are paralyzed. They need special care. But it is not possible to do it if there is no member present to take care of the house. For this reason, it is seen that lack of proper care increases the amount of disease.
- Many people in Bangladesh now suffer from mental health problems. Most graduates and undergraduates have mental health problems. Not even to the point of death.
- The patient has difficulty returning to his previous condition quickly after healing. Moreover, people usually face problems in living a healthy everyday life. Physiotherapy is the solution to these problems, but physiotherapy at home is not readily available in Bangladesh.
- In Bangladesh, it is seen that many times the ICU seat of the hospital is not empty. Due to this, one has to run to the hospital. Even then, no empty bed can be found. The condition worsens due to the lack of proper treatment for the patient.
People coming from distant places are to suffer for doctor appointments. The unexpected death rate increases because of the lack of instant emergency services. Older and disabled people are suffering from a lack of personal care services. It costs a lot of time and effort to get private care, home services, and international medicines.
The struggle of getting doctor appointments, the consequences of not getting emergency doctor consultation, and ambulance services are getting higher. The scarcity of personal care, mental health support, and home services is high. The shortage of international medicines also creates hassle.

- There are physiotherapy facilities home to do physiotherapy at home. It does not waste valuable time.
- There is a medicine room delivery to get the medicine at home at the right time. In this way, a person can order medicine at any time. The requested drugs will be delivered to the specified place.

A positive change begins with knowing a good skill and the nature of the problem and finding solutions to it. It is challenging to get doctors' advice in emergencies, home nursing services, home diagnostic services, mental health care, home physiotherapy, set up a home ICU, caregiver in-home service, dispense medicine, and ambulance service. And to get these services quickly, people have to face many problems. Hophycare is working to address these issues and provide Healthcare at home.
The initiative will feature a web-based and text messaging tool that will provide information on what services they need. The online and mobile app will supplement and enhance our program's work. Moreover, our services are much more beneficial for older people because Hophycare provides home-based services.

We live in a time where diversity, equity, and inclusion play an important role when working with a team. I take advice from my team members for feedback on how I can create a more welcoming and open environment. From their feedback, I was able to establish the principle of diversity. These diversity and inclusion policies allow for open conversation and better practice in our workplace. Everyone on our team knows and understands their role. We encourage all members of our team to be responsible for their work. Moreover, we prioritize collaboration and teamwork in the workplace. Every team member tries to build proper communication with each other.
Hophycare works for a unique business model. We are working for the disabled people of society. We provide home services to patients who cannot go to the hospital for medical treatment. We plan to reach out to disabled patients across the country.
We make money by sharing the revenue with all of our partners. For example, Physicians charge 5000 BDT for providing service at home. From 5000BDT, we cut 20% for ours. As same as Nurses, diagnostic, Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy centers, Ambulances. We are working on a percentage share model. We will get 10-20 % from every service.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Hophycare is currently running on its funding. We will achieve its goals shortly by working in tandem with the local market and future plans to work across the country. And by doing this, we will reach a minimum gross margin, and further improve our service.
We have not started to run our services to consumers yet. So, we haven't achieved financial sustainability yet.
