Rwanda affects by this pandemic where 1 in 3 deaths is linked to NCDs according to Rwanda's population census in 2019 shows that up to 2.5 million people have diabetes and hypertension equal to 20% of the Rwandan Population. The research and literal review show that the rising of NCDs is linked to the modern transition of an unhealthy diet, lack of trusted and accurate information about prevention and management skills, unhealthy lifestyles, lacking an early tracking system, and limited access to specialized medical care due to a shortage of health facilities and health professionals compared to the people need services for example in Rwanda where 1 doctor per 8,919 population. 

As Young Health care Providers We come up with an innovative solution for digital health care multidisciplinary platform offering nutritional interventions, personalized care, monitoring the chronic patients, and program wellness like for diabetes, hypertension with lasting change to improve health outcomes and reduce the care cost. 

Providing nutritional intervention, nutrition counseling, and health style orientation, personalized care from specialized teams, and contributing much to preventing non-communicable diseases and our website provides a safe space to the clients who have the same goals and conditions, this increases commitment, and meaningful outcomes and a good approach to behavior change. 

Through recording and medical records saving on our platform, help us in detect early the servility condition and new cases. 

We accompany patients living with chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and people who are at risk of chronic diseases above 30 years old from different communities in their life journey and improve their health outcomes through digital consultation, personalized care services, Safe Space groups, and tailored patient education. 

By using some approaches like proper nutrition, monitoring progress, Health lifestyle change, This approach help our clients to save 50% on medical health costs, the time they spend on medical follow-up, and the economy of clients’ families will increases because the productivity of the family members will increase.

The economy of Rwanda and other countries will increases because the huge number of money used in providing treatment of some chronic diseases will be saved for example the Low -income countries spend over $500  Billion on preventing and treatment of Non-communicable diseases, with our solution in the coming five years the country of Rwanda will save ⅔ (equal 238.6 Billion Rwanda francs )of Money used in NCDs stuff like treatment and prevention, screening and also the Premature mortality caused by NCDs from 1 in 3 deaths to 1 in 100 death annually. Our stakeholders will save money and get accurate data on the health status of their clients.

our team core team's experiences and skills and Advisors in the health sector enable us to know exactly what the patients need and the proper ways to manage them, for instance, I am a young businessman with a decade of passion for promoting health and wellness to the community through projects called CareMe Bioplastic and Vitaway E-Clinic, and also I am a confident talented energetic person who has developed a mature with a logical mind, self-motivated, resilience, hardworking youth with a positive attitude towards my studies and business.

We are facing different challenges like lack of financial incentives and priorities, targeted users mindset, limited internet accessibility, language barriers, shortage of medical devices, and as problem solvers tried our best to manage some challenges as we can like setting up community both physical and online campaigns in changing mindsets, and finding a partnership with medical devices companies and we that MIT Solve its best platform to me with Partners and Investors. By now the biggest challenge we are facing is the limit of finances, We are raising funds for developing our website with Health Artificial Intelligent help us to monitor the user's progress with accurate information, buying our savers for securing patients’ data and enable us to host over three million of patients in two years and we will help us to scale up our business in other Africa countries.  

We got positive results from the tested clients where 90% of them are aware to pay for that services, and also our experts in health sectors empower us to know the chronic patients' needs.

Our services are accessible and affordable to the patients because we combine both mobile apps and web-based applications and also we provide demos on every page in order to explain the users.

Our Approaches combine Monitoring, consultation, and Healthy lifestyle counseling, as we know the main risk factor for Non-communicable diseases are Unhealthy lifestyles like an unhealthy diet, smoking, and lacking early detection of NCDs cases. Vitaway E-Clinic provides personalized care with a full package of Virtual consultation, nutritional intervention, and a monitoring system with Artificial Intelligent. 

We are looking for funds to scale up to three million patients with mainly cardiovascular diseases and diabetes in raising awareness of NCDs management with digital health care multidisciplinary platform offering nutritional interventions, personalized care, and supporting NCDs management including detecting and providing access to Palliative care for people's needs with actionable insights. With introducing our solution to the market in the coming 5 years we expect the following impact on the clients and countries in general

My name is Emmanuel HAKUZIMANA, Founder of Vitaway E-Clinic which currently operates in Rwanda, I was born in a rural Northern province, and grew up in Kigali city where getting access to healthcare services was difficult. image how can 1 doctor serve 12,000 populations. so with this problem, I grew up with a desire to save more lives and fill in this gap. Eventually, I achieve this dream by becoming a medical student, so by the time I reached my clinical years I wanted to research Non- communicable diseases. I found that medical follow-up, lacking information, and education was a major issue those patients face so it many times leads to death, and the development of further complications in those patients. so as a problem solver. I have sat down and thought, How can I solve this issue and then, I come up with a solution of using Artificial Intelligence to analyze and compile data so that I can give these patients personalized feedback on how they can manage themselves, and also keep those data for future reference to the medical doctors so that she/he can diagnose and treat those patients accurately.

So I am already have developed a website and tested it to target clients and give positive feedback and 123 patients.

Our solution is innovative digital health care that Combines web applications, mobile apps, and other social media to provide specialized personalized care to chronic diseases patients and early detection of new cases in high-risk people with insights into NCDs management.

Our methodology focuses on using nutritional and lifestyle interventions to drive health outcomes and reduce the risk of NCDs, and also we plan to use high technology called Artitificail Intelligent which will help both us and patients to manage their progress with accurate data.

We operate a subscription-based mobile & web healthcare application for prevention and condition management and our revenue streams are in different channels. Our cornerstone revenue is based on personal subscriptions with payments estimated at $ 48 annually estimated at 40% of total revenue; Second business model is a partnership with the government of Rwanda through community-based Insurance where Government will pay for those patients who are unable to pay themself, and B2G will contribute to 30% of total revenue; thirdly we will back contracts with Insurance Health companies where they will pay for their clients, and B2B will give $72 Annually our client equal to 15% of our revenue; lastly Partnership with medical devices factories will get 10% of total revenue.

Our methodology focuses on using nutritional and lifestyle interventions to drive health outcomes and reduce the risk of NCDs. have meaningful health outcomes, where We provide Personalised care with actionable insights and our preventive approach saves 45% of the normal healthcare spending and the quality and standard of healthcare increase. We put care in health care.

We have already developed MVP by using our savings and testing it with the target users where  We have gotten positive results from the tested clients where 90% of them are aware and convinced and most importantly they are willing to pay for our services. Now we are looking to partner with Medical Devices Companies to manage the available resources and partner with Government which will support communities' campaigns. We are marketing our services to the target Users whom we expect will start to pay Us in the coming months will we help to cover some costs like hosting, internet Fees, Airtimes fees, marketing fees. As part of raising  $ 50k this year, Vitaway E-Clinic benefits from a range of access to funding and grants from partners and stakeholders to open a Shop of Medical Tools advice mainly those linked to NCDs and offices materials. 

Until now we are financing ourselves by Saving, family support and we are looking for partnerships and Investors.
