According to WHO, half of the world lacks essential health services, 2 billion people have no access to basic medicines and over 100 million people are still pushed into extreme poverty because of expensive health services. Nearly half of the patients in this study were unaware that they had hypertension. South Asians, on average, have greater body fat and lesser skeletal muscle mass than white people with the same or lower BMIs ("high body fat-normal BMI-low muscle mass" phenotype). Obesity is becoming more common as a result of unbalanced diets and physical inactivity. Because Asia is home to half of the world's population, addressing these issues and preventing them is a critical concern for global health. 

People don’t have time to do regular checkups. In fact, according to one study, 58% of 1,369 persons avoided medical care due to lifestyle restrictions such as not being able to leave work and time constraints. Not only Rural but also City people find it difficult to do simple checkups due to the high price in checkups at hospitals. People find it difficult to make appointments with doctors in hospitals waiting for a long time. Thus, there is no existence of smart devices that examine or monitor many body parameters like body temperature measurement, blood pressure measurement, brain sensing measurement etc. Even for small issues, regular hospital visits are required. This type of situation could be stopped by effectively utilizing current technology.

Our business “Nepical Healthcare” is proposed to you as this device examines essential health parameters. The goal of our work is to deliver a simple, scalable preventative care solution by tracking a few critical medical metrics such as blood pressure (BP), Weight, Height, BMI, oxygen level, Glucose level, temperature, body fat percentage, Body Muscle Mass, water level, diabetes, and hemoglobin, blood glucose test to measure your vitals in the quickest and most efficient method, with high test accuracy and sensitivity. All of these body parameters can be checked by this device, which is simple to use even if you have no prior medical experience. As a result, Nepical Device is the greatest option for senior citizens who require greater medical attention. This device creates a great impact on rural areas as well. This helps people to checkup their body parameters with low cost. The device can be placed in hospitals, clinics, healthpost, corporate, schools, hotels, fitness centers, airports, pharmacies and many other places.

We see problems not as obstacles but as opportunities to improve the patients' health and well-being in low cost .As we know the health system in Nepal faces daunting challenges such as unequal distribution of health care services, poor infrastructures, inadequate supply of essential drugs, poorly regulated private providers, inadequate budget allocation for health, and poor retention of human resources in rural areas. so we apply with a smart device to resolve the medical health issues

Currently, There is no device in the market that provides these many features as our device. Our solution is to make a device that helps people to scan their essential body parameters like Weight, Height, BMI, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Oxygen Level, Body Fat percentage and water level within a minute. Our technology can also monitor cardiac check-ups, diabetes, urine and hemoglobin, blood glucose, and lipid profiles. The device can also provide health tips and suggestions by looking at their health condition. So the Patients  / users can be aware of their health. The device can be placed in different places like hospitals, shopping mall, fitness center, school, hotels, and industry so users or patients don’t have to visit clinic / healthpost / hospital to check their body parameters.

Patients/Users option to print email or SMS to report all the machines are cloud-based and the data is stored on the cloud which can be accessed by the user later from a web interface or a mobile app. So as soon as the report is generated all the data is pushed to the cloud and the doctor if a live doctor is available they will be able to view the data as soon as it is captured as well as during the doctor's consultation.

The Ministry of Health Nepal recognizes the importance of digital health. In south asian countries, People finds difficult to checkup their body parameter due to time consuming.

Our first impact is to make essential body check accessible to everyone and everywhere, So the poor as well as all kind of people can check their body parameters. People can use this device which indirectly save their time and money.

Second impact is to make users/patients aware of the technology in health sectors.

Our this two main impact is to solve in Nepal at first within 4 years.

At first, we did survey with KU Research center, we finds the main and essential problems of peoples. After the survey, we did research with KU IRC Medical Researcher. As with the help of doctors in our team, we selected 8 major and essential body parameter to be measure within one device at low cost and to make accessible. After making the prototype with the help of Kathmandu University, and Dhulikhel Hospital, we made the device. Now we are working more on accuracy level and validating device. 

Here the technology is to make device, where we integrated Raspberry pi for processing and controlling overall sensor data for the prototype. 

We demonstrated our device to members of the community, who were enthusiastic and eager to purchase it whenever it became available. Dhulikhel Hospital is a financial supporter for us. Some NGOs and Kathmandu University have supported us to develop the device and are eager for it to reach the market.

Now, we are getting fund from different organization and also with our main supporting partner as Dhulikhel Hospital. At first two years, we will be working through donation and after validating the device, we will be making money through device selling and through app. Here, we are partnering with Dhulikhel hospital and Mohp.
