Dakko Wellbeing
Accessibility to financial and health services is a major concern of most people, especially underserved customers globally, like SME’s employees, women and gig workers. Global HR surveys show that SMEs struggle in establishing appropriate benefit plans. The many options in the market combined with poor financial literacy leads to confusion and mismatched services. Our motivation is to create a one-stop platform that enables the underserved to make informed decisions about their finance, health & lifestyle.
Dakko Wellbeing is a one-stop platform dedicated to improving access to health and financial wellbeing for SME employees and their families. Dakko Wellbeing aims to establish deep engagement with final users via the HR/ Payroll services and bank accounts connectivity in one application. Through users' employment relationships, we expect to engage customers, guide them and prompt them to take better care of their Health & Wellbeing by providing easy access to financial, health and wellness services. Along the journey, Dakko Wellbeing intends to provide micro recommendations that improve financial, insurance & health literacy, building skills for better long-term wellbeing.
With Dakko Wellbeing, we cater for three different personas (the unprepared, the prepared and the proactive) who are underserved by financial services providers by offering a personal finance solution and digitally distributing health & wellness offerings - including Loans, Insurance & Wellbeing services - to customers.
Persona 1. The Unprepared. People who are not financially prepared for challenges of life like medical emergencies. They don’t have or have minimal insurance coverage. They have limited financial knowledge/literacy. This is persona 1 and we will offer loans or credit on demand for their health needs.
Persona 2. The Prepared. People who are better at planning for future emergencies. They have more control over their finances and their lives. They want to protect themselves and their families. So to these people we will offer more value in terms of financial wellbeing and offer more services to get better prepared. This is persona 2 and we will offer insurance.
Persona 3. The Proactive. People who are more health & wellness conscious - they take more active steps to enhance their wellbeing and they are more oriented to education and information to preserve a healthy lifestyle. This is persona 3 and we will offer education, recommendations & health & wellness services.
So we can see three different stages of the user and our challenge will be also to turn persona 1 into persona 2 and then persona 3 over time.

We see a great synergy between Dakko and Solve Partners to work on a new digital channel and make pilots. Finally, we aim to join the Solve Challenge as this opportunity could increase business partnerships, support our product development and execution of our product roadmap, use case implementation and entry into new markets where we are able to solve problems through our solution.
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. expanding client base)
Dakko Wellbeing is a B2B2C Super App that provides access to Credit in addition to a rich set of features, enabling 1) SMEs to deliver business process improvements and automation and 2) employees to manage all their Financials, Health and Wellbeing needs in one Place.
Compared to our competition, we have found that there are standalone applications but none integrate these three aspects: Corporate Services, Financial Wellness Services, Health and Wellbeing. This is Dakko's differentiating factor and where we want to stand out from our competitors. In this way we can offer: --engagement, --personalized recommendations, --health & financial wellbeing when they need it.
Dakko supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (#3 Good Health and Well-being, #5 Gender Equality and #10 Reduced inequalities).
As we are committed to UN’s SDGs - #3, #5, #10 - and ESG, we believe that our business model may include elements to be adapted to the social impact and sustainability path (for example, raising awareness of sustainability and engaging employees with corporate social impact programs; driving to promote change and positive social impact; establishing partnerships and collaborations with NGOs, foundations, and industry partners to accelerate and advance “sustainability” globally)
At the current stage, we measure progress through customers' feedback and surveys and KPI defined in SOW with our partners.
Everyone deserves to live a good life. I envision a society in which people can lead healthy and productive lives, social inequalities can be reduced and companies can contribute to making all this possible by providing tools to improve employees and people's wellbeing. New thinking is required to discover unmet needs and create high-impact and successful products that matter to people, especially for the people who need them.
Dakko has launched Dakko Wellbeing in South-East Asia at the end of 2021. Dakko Wellbeing engages consumers via the HR/payroll services - with features such as a digital payslip that have regular use, ensuring regular engagement with consumers. In summary, the Dakko approach is to digitally distribute health & wellness offerings including Insurance, Loans & Wellbeing services to employees of corporates and SMEs. Through this strong commitment, we expect to urge and encourage users to take better care of their financial, health and wellness by providing access to financial, health, pharmacy and other wellness services.
