Innovative Forest Fire Prevention Technique (T.I.P.F.F-Life)
According to FAO statistics published by OXFAM France, 350 million hectares of forest are burned every year by fires. (https://www.oxfamfrance.org/climat-et-energie/feux-de-forets-incendies-changements-climatiques/ ). As an example, we can cite the case of the Australian forest fires of 2019-2020 where the 18.6 million equivalent hectares of an area of (186,000 Km²) was burned.
The statistics published on this case from Australia show that these fires also caused a lot of material, human and ecological damage. As an example of this case from Australia, there were more than 10,000 buildings destroyed, 34 dead, 445 people killed by smoke inhalation and several hundred million tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere). According to the in-depth analysis presented by Terrence Lattimore on October 13, 2020 on the case of Australia, an estimated 3 billion animals were killed (143 million mammals, 180 million birds, 2.46 billion reptiles).
We can not forget also other major fires that have occurred in recent times for example in California (Nov.2018), amazonia (Sept. 2019), Siberia (Sept.2019), Australia (January 2020), France, Greece, Italy, Turkey, North America (April and August 2021); the time it lasted to be brought under control and the collateral damage left.
As in all cases of fires, the damage can be greater due to the intensity of fires, duration, seasonality and ecosystems concerned.
This resistance of forest fires, their spread, their magnitude, and their damage are compounded by the lack of prevention against mega fires, which quickly merge and render ineffective ordinary methods of fighting forest fires. In reference to OXFAM France, forest fires are both one of the causes and the consequence of climate change and global warming possible to prevent and limit by more effective preventive techniques.
This is why we are committed to offering an Innovative Forest Fire Prevention Technique (T.I.P.F.F), a technology in the field of Bioengineer more effective for the prevention and fight of forest fires.
The Innovative Forest Fire Prevention Technique (T.I.P.F.F-Life) is a technology in the field of Bioengineering, more effective for the prevention, adaptation, mitigation and effective fight of forest fires.
It is an ambitious technique, capable of mitigating and addressing the problem of forest fires, their ecological, socio-economic, and health impacts. It is a technique that will be used to effectively protect nature, forest ecosystems, savannahs and adapt them to climate change.
It is a strategy that will also facilitate the fight against the phenomenon of desertification that threatens certain regions of the world because of climate change and global warming.
On the technical level in the event of a fire break out, T.I.P.F.F-LIFE will facilitate the rapid control of fires by blocking the melting of mega fires, while reducing impacts and ecological, material damage or loss of life caused by forest or nature fires.
T.I.P.F.F-Life It is also to reduce the causes of global warming, CO2, carbons emitted into the atmosphere and the risks of natural disasters, as well as their social, economic and environmental effects.
The T.I.P.F.F-Life will reduce the risk of forest fires starting, their spread, greenhouse gases emitted by forest fires.
The T.I.P.F.F will contribute to the protection of fauna, flora, biodiversity and human health in the immediate and long term.
The T.I.P.F.F-Life is an effective solution to face today's environmental issues, climate challenges and global warming that concern all the world's populations. By developing this innovative technique we will show its relevance to contribute to the immediate and long-term reduction of air, water, CO2 and carbon pollution spread by forest fires in the atmosphere. This technology will also be used to reduce the risk of desertification in several regions of the world.
As FAO shows, "Forests play a vital role in the water cycle, soil conservation, carbon sequestration and the protection of people, including pollinators. Their sustainable management is crucial for agriculture, food security and the economy.(FAO, in « situation des forêts du monde, 2016 », on the web site www.fao.org/3/a-i5850f.pdf).
We will also demonstrate its importance in responding to environmental issues, its contribution to maintaining the quality of the living environment on the planet, the natural balance, soil, subsoil, quality and quantity of water and, in a particular way, the good health of socio-economic and ecological issues in a sustainable way.
Our team is well positioned to propose an ambitious, sustainable and effective solution for the prevention of forest fires, savannahs, or for the fight against desertification, because the initiator of this technology has a lot of experience in innovative projects for the protection of the environment. Similarly, all participants each have their own uniqueness in the field of projects, which enriches the debate and the contribution of everyone in this project.
Our T.I.P.F.F-Life Technology is a necessity of many communities around the world who are threatened by fire and desertification risks that are increasing every year. This technology also responds to policies to protect the environment, biodiversity and reduce CO2. It reinforces the Paris climate agreements.
- Support local economies that protect high-carbon ecosystems from development, including peatlands, mangroves, and forests.
- Concept
We wanted to submit our T.I.P.F.F-Life technological innovation to solve university for the following reasons:
- Due to the fact that this University is very well known in the field of research and innovation at the global level. So, by submitting our technological innovation to this renowned Institution, we hope that this technology will be analyzed and validated at the global level because the problem that this technology aims to solve concerns the global challenges of climate change and global warming.
- Due to the fact that solve university is a large international connection network for innovative projects of public utility.
- The fact that some US states are well aware of the problem of forest fires and the risks of desertification.
It is mainly these three reasons that pushed us to submit our technological innovation T.I.P.F.F-LIFE to the University of Solve. In other words, we hope that solve University will help us have connections to develop and publicize this technology for the prevention, mitigation, and effective fight of destructive forest fires that destroy forest ecosystems, nature, biodiversity, agglomerations and increase CO2 in the atmosphere.
- Financial (e.g. improving accounting practices, pitching to investors)
The T.I.P.F.F.-Life technology is an innovative strategy because it is the only one that offers the technical and technological means for:
- Prevention of forest fires and savannah or nature;
- Adaptation of nature to climate change and global warming;
- Mitigation of the problem of nature fires;
- Reduce the risks of desertification ;
- Effective fight against forest fires
T.I.P.F.F-Life is also the only technology capable of enhancing the good health and sustainability of vegetation (trees and grasses) in their primary role of:
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) uptake by trees and grasses,
- Increased oxygen (O2) and water (H20) in the atmosphere.
The T.I.P.F.F-Life is also one of the few unifying projects between ecology, biodiversity, economy, social and health.

To put in place an effective prevention technique capable of reducing the risk of fire starting by means of prevention, adaptation and effective fight against the rapid spread of fires and the fusion of mega fires in the forest. Rapid means of hydration, fire detection, alert, automatic or mechanical activation of water to extinguish the fire at its start or at a small area
The T.I.P.F.F-Life is a new ambitious and multidisciplinary technology for preventing forest fires by combining existing techniques . It will involve civil engineers, architects, physicists, designers, hydrologists, plumbers, electromechanics and project managers, etc. Each integral technique must be developed integrally by adapting it to strategic forest environments and systems for preventing, adapting and responding to forest fires. With what is already known about fires, (e.g. Characteristic propagation of an ellipse-shaped forest fire see figure above), can we develop this innovative forest fire prevention technology. One of these technic combined is:
Water catchment technique by an engine (Fig.8) of the document on T.I.P.F.F.-LIFE.
We remind you that forest fires are seasonal phenomena, but can sometimes be early or late due to climate change.
Therefore, their prevention by water catchment technique is possible. As the RéFEA technical team shows, "this technique is usually used in some arid or semi-arid regions when rainfall data do not provide a minimum of service. »[1] However, it is necessary to reflect on the relevance of the use of a water catchment, to provide a partial supply to facilitate the living conditions of populations or vegetation during the period of drought or heat wave. Thus Topography and Hydrography will be necessary in this potential technique of water collection from a developed water point (river / lake). NB. The RéFEA technical team points out that when "climates are characterized by short dry seasons and multiple high-intensity thunderstorms, water abstraction is the most relevant solution.
It will also require a systematic study of the different types of landscape predominant in a region where these infrastructures are to be located. Example: large rocky slopes and rock outcrops, slopes with medium slopes, slopes with low slopes etc. see table of the RéFEA team on the option of water supply for the four main types of landscapes most frequent in arid areas (idem) Or the IRC document, 1996, water abstraction: a guide for planners and project managers, technical document n°30). Soil quality analysis will also be necessary, which involves the work of geologists. Each type of relief requires the choice of a type of installation between water towers or the installation of an underground tank in the form of a false septic. The water captured in the river / lake by an engine pumping system, will be supplied in the giant water towers (Cameroonian water supply technique) or in the underground reservoirs in the form of false septics, structures that will be installed in the different sites/ strategic places in the forest / bushes; and thereafter they will also supply the installations or various automatic or mechanical watering circuits using a control button. The capacity of these water tanks will be determined by a technical team according to the geographical characteristics of the place or sites where they will be installed. But, there are other important factors that can help determine the size of the reservoir namely "the size of the catchment"; expected runoff in a given season or year;
the shape of the site where the dam is built; the need for water; the number of workers a technical group wants/can involve.
NB. We want to emphasize that this technique of preventing forest fires by the water collection/pumping system and its redistribution by watering technique, has no impact on the decrease of water in general, because when forests are doing well, the water cycle is also easy. In addition, through its programmer system, there will be no risk of soil erosion. All technical and specific aspects of the project will be demonstrated by a multidisciplinary technical team.
Example of a technique for catching / pumping river water as part of supplying a reservoir of several distribution circuits. NB. This technique can be adapted to the prevention of forest and bush fires.

- A new technology
Our technology works because it has been thought and designed based on existing techniques. For example, the water catchment technique used in the exploitation of minerals not accessible to water, the technique of storing water in large quantities in inaccessible areas, automatic or control watering techniques, automatic alert techniques, etc. NB. The detailed document and technical diagram on this technology have already been prepared.

The diagram of "spheres of intervention" and (Fig.1) shows the common strategic target and multifunctionality of this innovative technique. It is an effective solution to today's environmental issues, climate challenges and global warming. By developing this innovative technique we will show its relevance to contribute to the immediate and long-term reduction of air, water, CO2 and carbon pollution spread by forest fires in the atmosphere. As FAO shows, "Forests play a vital role in the water cycle, soil conservation, carbon sequestration and the protection of people, including pollinators. - Government (B2G)
T.I.P.F.F-LIFE is financially viable: see the eight validity criteria of the T.I.P.F.F.-Life project
1. The relevance of T.I.P.F.F- Life
T.I.P.F.F-Life will significantly reduce the risk of forest fire disasters. It is a more relevant strategy to protect and adapt forest ecosystems and natural environments to climate change. T.I.P.F.F-Life will contribute to the protection of the environment, biodiversity and human health. It is a more effective technological response to the problem of climate change and global warming. It will reduce pollution of air, soil, water, CO2 and other greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere by forest fires. It is a technique that will also contribute to the creation of many stable jobs in different regions of the world. T.I.P.F.F-Life will be more useful in the immediate and long term in the following three aspects:
- Forest fire prevention
- Adaptation of forest ecosystems and natural environments to climate change.
- Effective fight against forest fires and their ecological and socio-economic impacts.
2. The effectiveness of T.I.P.F.F- Life
The T.I.P.F.F-Life will reduce the possibility of forest fires starting and, the fusion of mega fires to 95%. It is most effective in preventing and fighting the spread of fires over a large area. Thus, this technique will reduce the ecological and socio-economic impacts caused by forest fires at the local, regional, national and international levels.
3. The efficiency of T.I.P.F.F- Life
The efficiency of the T.I.P.F.F-Life is measured in terms of its economic and financial cost and its usefulness in relation to the economic, financial, material, ecological cost and thousands of people mobilized during the forest fire. Given all this, we can say that the price of implementing the innovative, sustainable and renewable T.I.P.F.F-Life technique would be much lower than the cost of a forest pest fire that can last more than a week and cost millions of dollars.
In addition, T.I.P.F.F-Life is a technological added value for society as a whole. From the scientific point of view, it is a structure that integrates interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinary study. T.I.P.F.F-Life is more efficient compared to ordinary methods of preventing and fighting forest fires.
4. The viability (sustainability) of T.I.P.F.F- Life
From a sustainability perspective, T.I.P.F.F-Life is a long-term technology. It will contribute to solving the problem of global warming. These structures are sustainable and renewable. T.I.P.F.F-Life is also economically and financially viable. It aims to preserve biodiversity, human lives and the climate in general. It is a project with an international dimension, which will enable countries vulnerable to forest fires to be able to prevent and mitigate them.
5. The adequacy of T.I.P.F.F–Life in solving climate challenges
The adequacy of the T.I.P.F.F-Life is observed by its mode of prevention and intervention in the fight against forest fires. The T.I.P.F.F-Life will be able to operate by the automatic programming system or by mechanical means according to the will of technicians depending on the situation that arises (prevention or fight against fire). T.I.P.F.F-Life will facilitate the rapid control of forest fires thanks to its ability to prevent the rapid spread of fire over a large area in the forest.
6. The satisfaction of T.I.P.F.F- Life
The T.I.P.F.F-Life will give a satisfactory response overall to all States that want to protect their forest ecosystems and fight against the ecological impacts caused by forest fires. The project reinforces the governments' policy in their ambition to reduce up to 2% of CO2 by 2030. The T.I.P.F.F-Life gives a satisfactory answer in the adaptation of the environment to climate change and global warming. The T.I.P.F.F-Life gives a satisfactory solution also to the preservation of biodiversity and human health. It is also an opportunity to create several stable jobs in the context of climate action in the different regions.
7. The possibility and feasibility of T.I.P.F.F-Life
T.I.P.F.F-Life is possible and feasible in all its aspects (Fig.2) below. From a technical point of view, T.I.P.F.F-Life is an innovation that combines three main techniques already known and used for other purposes (Fig.17). It is about art, craftsmanship, creativity and technological know-how. In other words, T.I.P.F.F-Life is an experimental technology. From the scientific point of view, T.I.P.F.F-Life is a technology that highlights the interdisciplinarity between technique, science and craftsmanship..
8. The desirability of T.I.P.F.F-Life
T.I.P.F.F- Life (Fig.2) is humanly desirable. It is one of the most effective and sustainable technical responses to the major ecological challenges caused by climate change and global warming. It will contribute to the reduction of CO2, the safeguarding of biodiversity and human lives.
In short, our technology is of public utility. It will be funded by donations and funding from NGOs and governments
To propose our technological innovation, our team has been working voluntarily since 2019. We have proven the technical and technological feasibility of T.I.P.F.F-life. Currently we are calling on the scientific community such as solve university to approve this technology and its usefulness. After approval, we will use the funding agencies.
