Active Volunteer Social Platform

There are many people who need care, help and support, and on the other side, there are many people who are ready to help, support others and volunteer.

There is a lack of effective volunteering and support management globally. Many people wish to volunteer in a social cause or to help a community, but because of lack of information on who needs help, where and when, these passive volunteers end up doing nothing.

And also from the victims perspective, if a person needs a social help or support, then they don't know whom to approach or How.

The lack of proper communication channel or platform to connect the volunteers to a social cause or needy people is a major problem globally

By developing an Online social platform for active volunteering.

 All the nearby social, community causes could be seen on the platform, and volunteers or common people could contribute or support depending upon their choice.

So basically the people could post the nearby problems, social causes etc. and volunteers or people willing to support could get the updates and information on the problems nearby based on location.

The Social Platform would be an App for android and iOS, most probably built using Flutter.

So when a volunteer uses the app, they could see all the problems happening nearby, information on who needs care, support etc.

For ex. A person can post a social problem like a nearby park that is filled with garbage and plastic waste, tag the location and upload some pics.

So all the volunteers or people willing to support would get update on this park problem that is happening nearby, and also information on what should be done and when. So they all could unite and solve the problem ie, clean the park in a efficient and affordable way.

Social causes, community problems, accidents could be posted on the platform and this information would be shared with the volunteers, NGOs nearby.

Many cries for help and support are often left unheard. and many hands that are stretched to support others are not able to reach them.

Mainly Small community problems could solved, social causes could be supported and the right kind of help and support could be delivered to the needy people. volunteering will become more efficient and a big problem solver factor

We are engineering students who are familiar with coding and developing.

Our state Kerala in India faces heavy rainfall every year and is subjected to floods. thousands of people get affected, the support and care is very inefficient and chaotic in such situations. So we are familiar with the problem statement and faces this problem.

currently we are trying to solve a local problem, but we wish to solve it globally. we need to work with different communities and social causes to understand the problem more deeply. We are aiming to build a solution that would be beneficial globally. So we need to get technical and community support to improvise our concept and to make it more efficient

A proper communication and connection channel that connects the volunteers efficiently to the people who needs support.

A social platform that is solely for the purpose of volunteering and social work

Support and help could be delivered more efficiently and faster.
