MYTAF- An educative technological system for care profession
How do we take care of care? We live in an era of a growing demand for caretakers for children and the elderly. The great need puts employees without prior training into sensitive work that requires training and many inputs of supervision and guidance. Sensitive work without training is fertile ground for creating disasters: lack of adequate care, non-compliance with safety standards and quality standards, these lead to real harm to the patient population. Attempting to create oversight mechanisms is complex and often costly, and even the oversighting staff does not have the appropriate and right tools to do so.
MyTaf is a technology platform that provides training, accompaniment and management services for business owners in the field of care for the elderly and the toddlers. MyTaf system creates a treatment ecosystem by providing a service from the level of the supervisory authority to the level of the caregiver by providing simple technological solutions that enable management and supervision for the entire treatment system. MyTaf produces a quality standard for the therapeutic system through high-quality and important information and at low costs, without a high financial investment.
MyTaf system is intended for the entire therapeutic ecosystem - from the level of the supervisory authority, investors, caregivers and customers.
For the therapeutic level - we’ll provide tools for creating a uniform therapeutic standard, creating a curriculum for on job training , through easy and simple access learning tutorials For those with low skills in technological accessibility.
For patients and their families - transfer of information and feedback from the caregivers, updates and knowledge about the patient's condition and the therapeutic framework.
For the Authority and Investors - collecting information and managing data on the success of the therapeutic force, the needs of training and instruction and the enrichment of the content world of the workforce.
Mytaf is a system built on the cumulative experience of two organizations, one - UNITAF, located in Tel Aviv, Israel, and has been operating for the past 15 years in providing supervision and guidance to kindergarten teachers in kindergartens of asylum seekers and status-less children in Israel. Second, the Day Break Center is located in San Francisco bay, USA and provides a strategic and therapeutic umbrella to all senior organizations in the area. We have identified the growing need to create a quality framework that will accompany caregivers in both areas - infancy and old age. We have created a technological system that will provide this framework. The three arenas in the platform: training, management and supervision are based on thousands of hours of experience and development of training and mentoring programs. The transition to online technology enables the accessibility of knowledge everywhere, while working and with huge savings of manpower hours in transferring the necessary content.
- Improving access to training & certification, portable benefits, and labor organizations for care workers.
- Prototype
Our main need is system development. The platform is ready at the demo level, but there must be a design adjustment and the development of various plug-ins for the benefit of the program. For this purpose we can be very helpful in connecting to companies or organizations that have the tools to develop or obtain funding for the benefit of payment to an external development company.
In addition, one of the barriers of the program is a clientele that is not skilled with technological means. Therefore, we want to introduce knowledge content: high-quality, designed, easy to illustrate at an accessible level and easy to operate. It is necessary to create videos that will be produced according to pedagogical guidance adapted to age and therapeutic needs. In addition, copyright agreements must be created to create a rich and high-quality knowledge library for professionals.
- Business model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
MYTAF initiative marks a revolution for the care economy. This is the first technological system that provides managerial, instructional and supervisory solutions. This enables a graded process of building quality propecia and revolutionizing the way caregivers are managed and act.
Distribution of the system and its implementation by stakeholders will lead to a fundamental change in the care economy when inputs of investment and supervision are managed efficiently and functionally on the grounds of data-based management.
In the coming year:
- Building a sustainable economic model and finding a source of initial capital.
- Finding a first pilot group within a local authority to pilot the system.
- Establishing relationships and partnerships with companies and organizations interested in the system for the implementation of the system in kindergartens, private kindergartens, nursing homes and private caregivers.
The next five years:
- Finding capital for investment.
- Creating the system while building a sophisticated knowledge base.
- Building a professional team that includes: legal department, design department, development people, content department and marketing people.
- Establishing relationships with local authorities and businesses with an interest in accompanying and supervising caregivers.
The most important measure of success is the number of users. Today, 120 infant caregivers work with a simple system demo. The increase in the number of caregivers is a measure of success and growth.
Another measure is the number of courses taught. Today the system offers 3 courses: Safety, classes rules and use of games. We want to offer as wide a range of content and courses as possible.
The logical framework that forms the premise of the project is the rationale that the use of technological tools enables the accessibility of knowledge and the collection of knowledge, the execution of monitoring processes and communication with the accompanying entity.
On job training activity is necessary with field workers such as caregivers and should be done within the existing resource constraints. The resources are the production of accessible, multilingual and culturally adapted software for the target audience. The products: a competent therapeutic force and a supervisory framework according to a uniform standard. The results: customers are treated at a higher level, reducing harm and creating a competent and educated treatment level.
Use of the MOODLE application - open source for academic institutions.
Use of WhatsApps / SMS for the "bulletin board" system with the families of the customers.

We at MYTAF are committed at the highest level to our staff and partners in addressing a diverse clientele and in our vision - to contain quality and appropriate care for as wide a range of population as possible, regardless of religion, race or gender.
In our curriculum, thought and planning are invested in accordance with fairness and equality as a tool for promoting awareness and stuggling discrimination of all kinds.
Our business model is yet to be formed. We need help and mentoring in this regard. To date, all our activities have been carried out within the framework of a non-profit organization that cares for children without status in Israel.
Our vision is a fee per user that will be charged by the supervisory authority or the care business owner against using the system, learning and receiving the content.
MYTAF's business model is sustainable- 1) profits from users. 2) Potential for hyper-growth for a market that is not yet sufficiently developed. 3) Collecting statistical data on customers and users on a huge scale, potential sales or mergers with companies that specialize in medical services, treatment, nutrition and the like.
For MYTAF no capital has yet been raised. But, in both organizations, UNITAF in Tel Aviv and Daybreak Center in San Francisco we specialize in raising capital for social projects from multiple sources: philanthropy, service sales and government funds.
