GID - Global ID Card

GID is complete solution based on encrypted smart cards. Scalable to any size, can be implemented now. 

Global ID card is smart card based ID system. It comprises of several software modules. It is highly secure, practical and economical ID system.

GID card has strong ID content + all the other features as listed here: 

• National ID card
• Immigration, visas and border control card
• Advanced voting card
• Advanced driver’s license card
• Vehicle license card
• Advanced medical card
• Advanced insurance card
• Secure payment card with a digital wallet for medical purposes and wallet for general usage

Chip internal structure is organized into functional folders. Operator of the GID system can cherry pick which functions of the card to utilize in addition to the ID functionality. 

GID system does not rely on PKI for encryption and security but rather on SAM card (Security Access Module) system. 

GID is developed solution. It could be customized on demand by operator and implemented in few short weeks.

GID is based on existing smart card technology that is available for the last 20 years. However we used innovative design to make system practical and very secure. That design will save operator hundreds of millions in building and operating costs. 

The same design we used with universal health smart cards. It provides flexibility and security in one single package. Solves many issues who and how can use the system.

Each GID card is locked and controlled by the cardholder. Each card contains colour picture of the cardholder, 6 digit PIN and biometric token to validate the rightful owner.

There are 5 layers of security implemented in every card. Stolen or found card cannot be used by the third party.

Privacy and security of the system are there by design, from ground up.

GID system is very simple to setup and use. At basic cell level all it needs is laptop PC with 2 USB ports for the smart card readers. 

Login and security allows control who and how can use the software. Internal security system also regulates access to cardholders data.

GID system works in any environment, connected or off-line due to design with SAM control cards. In other words no communications is required to read and validate somebody's personal ID card.

System was developed with Africa in mind. GID does not require heavy communications infra structure.

Kiosks, if used, provide graphical, touch screen capabilities for easy understanding and usage.

GID card as an multifunctional ID card provides countless benefits to every cardholder, Government, medical professionals and all other entities that would use the card in everyday life. 

Similarly to Estonian eCitizen card it would be very hard not to see those benefits if implemented on mass population.

Our eHealthONE solution is implemented by NCI, National Caribbean Insurance located on St. Kitts & Nevis islands. We are also working with doctors or companies located in Cameroon, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and few more African countries who are in various stages of acceptance.

To make something like GID or eHealthONE you have to have a genius on board. We have one. He lives in Norway and is co-owner of the Smart Chip Card Solutions Ltd.

Secondly you have to have top notch smart card programmers. Reliable, capable and completely trusted. We have those as well in Norway, Germany, Croatia and India.

Then you need source of best hardware to do the job. We have that from Germany, France and USA.

SCCS revenue model is based on software usage and per card small royalty fee. 

We don't want to control individual software copies and installs. Operator will be free to install software on any number of PCs. There are no per seat, month, or year license fees.

It is negotiable if operator or interested party wants to buy whole system outright or pay per usage.

ID4D sounds like perfect way to implement project and system like that en masse and guarantees success. We could not create better marketing and exposure opportunity by ourselves.

SCCS Ltd. is nobody in global terms. We have brilliant ideas and good products but don't have marketing money to advertise properly. World Bank and ID4D as an entities bring legitimacy of the project to completely new level. Something that we could never achieve ourselves.

It boils down to the marketing and investment. System is very economical to buy and use but still somebody has to invest in hardware and setup.
