This solution is looking into how sub-grants or services offered by non-profits effects immediate connections between small business owners and their sponsors or investors. It has been proven over the years that, businesses thrive more with investors, and this is to say, in other words, investors are of great significance in any business today. However, there are degrees of risk involved in investing in a startup or small business. Not many investors will be in consonance with the idea of investing in a startup or small business (who would even dare to invest their precious resources in women and BIPOC-owned businesses in the United States? The unfavorable policies against the community of black would let no one), Opinions would differ. Some investors would have a lackadaisical attitude as to not to fund the startup or small business whereas some would be willing to invest

Public policy is the foundation for business creation, growth, and overall economic prosperity. At its best, it can be helpful to the entire state and expand that success onto the national level. However, poorly planned public policy can cripple businesses, and inhibit small businesses’ ability to succeed. Owning to the gaps developed over years of discriminatory policies toward women and communities of color in the United States, startup or small businesses, particularly those in communities historically excluded and especially those owned by Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and women might find it somewhat difficult to connect to their sponsors or investors. It has been made clear that over 80% of small businesses are non-employee firms, and many entrepreneurs lack expertise in professional functional skills.

Non-profits would advocate for a better and more conducive business environment (specifically, for the women and BIPOC-owned businesses).

Partnership with Truist Foundation and MIT Solve will establish the much needed funds and potential mentorship to lead us into the implementation of changing the way entrepreneurs of color get help in changing the world. Our non profits are what helps the world create change within the communities since the government can’t help save us all and they have so many extreme requirements that do not work in the favor of the disadvantaged. Guarantee money makes the world go round and we need it to put together the programs that will lead to implementation of our program.
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development, etc.)

- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. expanding client base)
just like so many we want to serve we are a new nonprofit in the same situation that this challenge is expressing. We know the trials and tribulations that come with raising support finding sponsors or having good mentor ship. We know with the advantages of this challenge if we are to succeed and win we will make a change for every nonprofit and business that comes after us.
we would’ve love to be able to work with habitat of humanity since we created our foundation on providing energy efficient homes to the disadvantage people of Arkansas. But as this challenge has created a fire in us we know that MIT is a technological company that will know how to be creative in implementing the solution that we are providing. Direct help from that company through mentor ship would be exactly what we need to thrive when we use their knowledge and resources to expand and grow.
