Little Einstein’s is a licensed childcare facility that specializes in providing a safe, loving, and secure learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We meet the qualifications to be licensed with the state of Tennessee. Our main goal is to ensure that our children and parents experience excellent care. We build trust with our community to maintain a healthy reputation for our growing business. It is our mission to provide our exceptional services so that parents in our community can return to work without having to stress over childcare expenses.
The problem we are solving is a stress-free option to childcare expenses. Our organization will provide parents with an affordable income-based solution while also making sure they are secure with their children's safety. Our solution helps decrease the stress and hardship of parents in the community who struggle financially to pay for childcare.
Our employment rate has plummeted in our community and about 50% is due to not being able to cover the cost of childcare. We will offer free childcare services to all of our employees so that they won't have to worry about finding a facility for their children to attend. This project creates a willingness to work and also security.
My target are parents that are financially challenged and find employment but can’t afford to pay the entire cost for childcare. Parents (male or female) with children Ages 6 weeks to 5 years old and school age kids in the summer up to 12 years old. Our targeted areas are Fayette County. Oakland, Somerville, Whiteville, Bolivar, and Eads Tennessee. 50% of our demographics are minorities and 50% are White/Caucasian. Statically, speaking over 50% of the ages of 19-32 are struggling to pay for childcare when we did our outreach before opening our facility this study showed us a great need in the community. We serve Shelby County and about 10 of the surrounding areas. We strategically find our targets needs by creating polls and asking questions via social media, door to door questions, and providing informational flyers about how we can help with childcare. This helps us to find those how are looking for a more affordable alternative to childcare, so they aren't living paycheck to paycheck trying to pay for daycare.

The objective for Little Einstein’s is to prepare the learning facility for the enrolling children. We are opened for business once our facility has passed all required assessments to ensure safety. The main objective is to provide our parents and children with safe and secure space for learning and cognitive learning in the areas of Oakland, Somerville, Bolivar, Eads and Whiteville, TN. We reach out to parents who are on the waiting lists from the surrounding daycares, childcare providers and preschools that are now completely booked. Our stakeholder, Amy Smith, is consistently hosting fundraisers and reaching out to potential investors with similar bylaws and standards that will help us serve our community.

All staff will undergo a federal background check, extensive TENNPal and CPR training to ensure safety. Little Einstein's provides a private preschool education within an affordable amount for the parent. I will work individually with each family as well as with the state to provide affordable childcare and preschool for the child(ren). Our curriculum will be an Abaca Curriculum which will assure every child from Little Einstein’s Child Care and Preschool will enter kindergarten reading on a 1st grade level and will be better prepared for grade school.
We build trust by making sure all of our teachers properly trained and our parents have access to viewing their children while playing and sleeping. We ensure all of our staff is trained for emergencies such as CPR and SIDS.
We plan to give free childcare to those who are financially challenged and give jobs that will come with free childcare. We engage face to face with investors to share our mission. Our organization will host back to school drives, angel trees, and participate in other non-profit organization fundraisers to help them reach their financial goals.

Our first goal is to grow and expand our first location. Secondly, open up a 2nd and 3rd location to service more local areas. Thirdly, we would like to start a second non-profit to address and provide a Safe haven for children who suffer from childhood abuse/neglect. Fourth year, continue to spread our faith-based views and give back to our small businesses who have helped us create our organization. Fifth year, we will create a scholarship foundation to help youth in our community that want to attend college but are financially unable.
Little Einstein's is applying because we have studied the need for our services in our community. We have provided data that supports this cause however, because we are a non-profit organization, funds are very limited. We shared the start-up acquisition cost ($150,000) to efficiently run our organization. The solutions to one of our community problems is making sure our mission is fulfilled and we consistently give back by helping our community in any way we can. Our services that we provide will only be one way. We are in need immediate need of funding so that we can open our doors to the community.
