What is your solution?

we use blockchain technology to disrupt the supply chain for organic products. which allows people to verify if the genuine handpicked organic product is actually genuine or not, by checking and tracking it's origin and supply movement. Our solution also aims to improve farmer income.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

India is a farmer dependent nation. A huge part of the workforce is employed in agricultural sector, yet farmer suicides are on a record high due to low income. As the farmers do not get sufficient price for the produce due to poor supply chain. An improvisation of supply chain by disrupting the existing system will allow farmers to get fair price for their produce, encouraging them to produce without adulteration., As the growing consciousness of the modern consumers, demand true organic products for a healthy life. which will allow farmers to get more price for selling organics without adulteration. Benefitting both consumers and farmers.

chain-organics stores all data of the supply chain, from it's origin , which can be verified and used as a proof of originality, also the data can be used to trace the source of adulteration.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

The lives of farmers and general population will be largely affected in a positive manner, as food is essential to sustain life. Directly affecting the lives of 100 million plus farmers of India. as farmers do not get fair price for their produce, also there is no way they can earn more for their produce even if it's better in quality, as there is no set metric and a strong transparent , asy to use system does not exist.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

I have a family history, of growing crops, also , I am a student of economics and I have seen this problem exist for farmers both empirically and also in real life, through surveys and questionnaires.

Explain why you selected this stage of development for your solution—in other words, what have you accomplished to date?

The intial blockchain system is under development, a few online ads have helped me to understand that this idea will generate a lot of traction as the health awareness is increasing at an exponential rate due to health influencers and availability of internet.

With plans to go with our own farm products in the market by march 2022.
