Embracing Project Team Diversity
Team work is accepted as a way of enhancing productivity, but there is the need for diversity when it comes to selection of team members.
Since many teams in the community still don't understand the importance of diversity, there arises the need to educate them on what diversity entails, it's benefits and importantly how to embrace it.This entails a group well educated on the subject, with the use of electronic gadget within the reach of community members like smartphones, tablets and laptops, to aid in the learning process. Continuous monitoring will be conducted to track the improvement in team productivity.
Realization of increased Productivity of teams designed for specific projects within the community
The target population are Youths who participate in local projects designed by their own selves. Since most of them are uneducated and lack exposure, the new ideas to be taught and practised among the teams will searve as a great breakthrough in realization of their goals, which basically is attainment of economic stability
One-on-one interaction by some team officials and members as well as my research , based on my observations.

Based on a research I've conducted on Project team Diversity, which was merited among top graded projects, it is my wish and desire to translate the knowledge I have practically in the community where there exists a gap for which I can solve.

In solving the problem that exists, there is the need to educate team members on aspects of diversity which is easier done through use of electronic gadgets like Projectors, laptops and tablets. Practically, team Diversity entails connection with different kinds of people across the country. Due to the current pandemic, the use of smartphones and laptops can aid in connectivity. The target population approximately cosists of teams of 10-15 members each. My aim is to reach out to many teams as possible with a minimum of 25teams.
My major goal is the realization of increased Productivity within teams. This will result to economic growth and financial development at the locality.
Progress will be measured through periodic tracking of events, continuous monitoring as well as evaluation. Some of the indicators of progress will be more business start ups by teams , increased savings and improvement of individual living standards.
The major barrier is sufficient resources which entails supply of technology to be used and enough finance to find the entire project.
The group is well composed of both male and female, with different competencies and personality traits. These are factors of diversity in teams that has enabled higher efficiency in whatever we do. There are set strategies in achieving both short and long-term goals. Further more, our main Agenda is to impact directly into the society by enabling economic growth through team structural set up.
Currently we have patnered with Siaya county Government projects department as well as Maasai Mara University program for Youth Projects.
