Using the City Roads to advertise BrandNames virtually, in return asking Brands to lay appropriate amount of VillageRoads around that city without third party interference in INDIA using Blockchain Technology.

I’m trying to build a model where we literally use the roads in the cities to advertise the Brand names virtually and in return ask the Brands to lay appropriate amount of village roads around that city without third party interference. I’ve asked a retired secretary of India Mr. Anil Swarup about the same and he said that it’s practically possible but needs a lot of work. I strongly feel lack of transportation is one of the main reasons for India to lag behind. If this issue can be solved, there is greater chance for villages to develop.

We can take the example of combining block chain technology with IOT devices for the agricultural insurance for instance. We must succeed to place a small IOT device on the roads which doesn’t affect the daily traffic, and can produce virtual image of what the brands want to showcase. On the technology part, Autonomous agents inside the blockchain technology would take care of matters like auctioning ad slots like the marketers do in the digital world. This requires very little human interaction so that the chances of corruption can be close to zero.  

Around 66% of Indian population lives in rural areas and that accounts for 91 crore Indians. More than 70% of those rural areas suffer bad road system.

Factors: Corruption is one of the major factors for this problem to be persistent for decades. India cannot depend on politicians for the development. So I'm trying for a corporate solution. 

Consequences: As a result of this, Rural India has always been far away from the changing world. This forced the graduates and other people to move to cities for better lives and that resulted in over population and pollution in the cities.

My solution serves people in the rural INDIA. Their voices are far away from the reach of media. They deserve a better life.

I don't have a prototype yet.

One of the biggest challenges for this solution is creating a IOT device which can display the content in a smooth way.

My solution is still in the concept stage after taking some necessary pivots. I have had discussions with some of the powerful government officials to estimate the feasibility of my solution.

And on the technology part, the autonomous agents inside the block chain technology would take care of matters like auctioning ad slots like the marketers do in the digital world. It would mostly affect a large part of Indian rural population and the population is around 91 crore individuals.

I know that this alone cannot fulfil the entire cause, but I wish this can be a good beginning.

Challenges: Two major challenges for us to implement this project are:

1. This needs approval from the governments.
2.  Building the IOT device which we require for this task.

I don't have a team for this project as of now. But I do have good friends who have studied in the premium institutes in India like the IIMs, ISB, IITs and some people aborad from New York and Harvard and London Universities who can help me out here in their best way possible. I'm about to do my MBA. So we do have good quality of people who can work on this project.

The solution which I've shared in this application makes us eligible for the prize. We will use this prize money to build the IOT device needed for our project.
