GATHER IN

An organization formed to meet the needs of rural people.

This is a non-profit organization that gathers service minded people from schools and colleges to go visit their nearest rural area and know about their needs to take further action until those needs are met. It also works to spread awareness among the rural people and present oppurtunities for them. The needs and complaints of each rural area that was visited can be updated in an app through which our organization can know about the conditions and help them take necessary actions for their development.

There are many programs that are implemented to help the public but most rural areas don't see the results of these programs. Rural people don't have the access to let the government know about their requirements and most of the time it is due to lack of awareness. The lack of quality education, lack of infrastructure increases the unemployment rate which is a key cause of poverty. Almost 65% of India's population live in rural areas. There is also lack of sanitation and lack of food security in many places. Rural people do not raise their voices for their needs as they do not have appropriate access to reach the government. Hence, they are still left behind no matter how much the world is advancing.

Gather in serves all the rural people who find it hard to reach the government. Many of them don't even realize that they have to raise voices in the first place. 

We can follow up till necessary actions are taken by the government in places that cannot reach the government and spread awareness in the places that can reach the government.

The basic requirements of their life will be met. Improving education and infrastructure can improve job oppurtunities and reduce poverty. 

Gather in was an idea in my mind till now and we are working on building up this idea.

Our organization relies on an app that is built to let everyone know about the problems being faced. It is being updated every time a new need is found and we work to make each place a better one. We also let the app contain pictures and videos of what is the situation. The app categorizes problem based on nature and place which is easier to be dealt with. Important updates and oppurtunities are also uploaded in that app in detailed manner which can be taken to people with no access by people who are interested to work for a good cause.
