Hope for Future Online School

Online School platform for the sake of equal and quality educations for Afghan students without discrimination for girls and boys. By unsin technology make a new impact in society.   

My solution is Online School for Afghan Students without discrimination for boys and girls. The school will teach through Web Application and Mobile Application and use AI, Machine Learning, and other technologies. Moreover, after the collapse and the Taliban took over the country education is stopped for all Afghans especially girls, and most people are displaced and all groups of young and children do not have access to school and education after the collapse. All schools are closed to the face of girls, girls are not allowed to work and study, they are not allowed to go outside. Thus, I decided to create an education platform that is online and accessible everywhere to be useful for all groups of students in rural parts and displaced students.  The school will offer education for all Afghan students and underprivileged groups like girls, poor, and displaced students. The scale and scope of this platform will support all Afghan students in rural, city, and displaced students’ parts and the school will teach in students’ native language. The online platform is a very new idea in Afghanistan.  

Education is the only factor that can change the destiny and life of poor, developing, and post-war countries like Afghanistan. In the past two decades, education was improving but not enough to make Afghanistan a self-development country, however, after the collapse of the previous government and the Taliban took over the country's education is stopped. There is no group of people who are not affected by this bad action in Afghanistan approximately 38 million is affected by this revolution but the most common parts are girls, women, and displaced students. In conjunction with this issue, my generation study for 20 years but now unfortunately everything destroyed. Afghanistan’s future seems dark and dependent without education. Taliban do not have an idea to improve this sector but they destroyed the education sector with their reverse ideologies. If these series continue the results will make Afghanistan more dependent. Accredited and quality education is the only way to out Afghanistan from this dark future. This online school will solve some problems every single student will have a chance to learn a new subject, skills, technology from all parts of rural and students who are in foreign countries like on camp. It will be a small assist to these war-affected students to not lose their past achievements and be able to complete them. Learn these new skills, they will find jobs to earn money, The school will have the main campus.

The majority of Afghanistan’s children are not having access to accredited and quality education especially girls.  These circumstances become worse more after the collapse of the previous government and the Taliban took over the country these unqualified educations are stopped in all schools and universities doors are closed. The solution is an online school this school will serve all these children and young in rural and cities parts which involve about 9 million Afghan citizen students in Afghanistan. in addition, all students can get services from this school in online mode and offline mode. Children are the future of Afghanistan by giving them quality education their life will change they will learn globally. Knowledge is power this power will help them to improve their villages and their mindsets. Girls and women will get education services in their houses and the future mothers are educated and their children are also educated due to their parents being educated. Furthermore, they will learn new subjects like programming, technology, and soft skills which will help them to find work in the future to support themselves and their families. The school will help them to buy electronic devices and give them electronic devices to study online studies. lessons will record and save in CDs and flashes to be accessible in offline mode as well. Students will get an accredited diploma and gifts to motivate them to study more. In this school, students will learn more about English. 

As a Junior student of Computer Science at Kabul University and as a citizen of Afghanistan society I see all these problems in my eyes. After August of 2021 anything reverse in Afghanistan, more than 90 percent of the people are under the line of poverty all education organizations include schools and universities doors are closed. All services for girls and women are stopped and they are not allowed to go outside. Learning centers, private schools, and universities are collapsed or face collapse. Me as a student of Kabul University I do not have access to education in university. From September 2021 I start to find solutions way to make accessible education I did my researches and ask others to help me in this way. I know better about Afghan’s cultures and types of thinking. I start to write my project on paper to find a way that helps all groups of people in all parts. After more research, I found education is the part that most of the children and Youngs are underprivileged from it. Thus, I decided to make and create and platform or organization that gives services to people who are rural and students who are displaced. The only thing that can support all of my visions and missions is using technology. As a student of technology, I with the assistance of others decided to make an online platform to be accessible everywhere and not need transportation in all situations like pandemics and war.

The stage which I think is more suitable for my solution is concept due to my solution is in the education sector education will grow the future of students and the life level of students in the future. This is an idea that I will implement in the future. Accredited and quality education change the destiny of Afghanistan like Singapore. My project will establish online platforms like web applications and mobile applications to have services in online mode. In addition, we will make these products by helping international technology companies and national companies. On the other hand, services are also in offline mode through our campus in 3 large cities in Afghanistan and through recording materials in CDs and memory flashes. In these two ways, the scope of our project becomes wider our vision is equal and quality education for everyone. This project will contribute to society in the education sector. The all following steps are in idea or concept due to implementation the most important part is the budget and funding part which we do not have to implement our project.

Our project is about the technology we want to implement our project through technologies. One online platform or online school needs applications like Web and Mobile applications that handle all tasks which are needed for online education. The other one is MIS for schools to record students and other staff data and information. Through a web application, students can register themselves, create accounts, and through the mobile application, they will find the chance to download lessons on their phone in offline mode and help them to have more access easily to use this platform and MIS to record data. The other technology assists our products more efficiently by using AI and Machin learning in school software and Apps. One of the stages that AI helps applications is in exams that prevent cheat during exams like the Duolingo English online test. I did my researches on online platforms some websites like Coursera and EDX I have learned these platforms work enough efficiently and I have got an idea to make our school like these platforms. Furthermore, In Afghanistan and outside Afghanistan, I do my research on how to make and develop these products and there are online freelance websites like Fiver that have services to make these products for us. However, we will have a mentor in this program to assist us more. Moreover, the other facility that makes school mobile app easier to use free internet for this app which we will talk with ISP and communications companies like AWCC.

The project will support a large number of students in all parts of Afghanistan. However, at first, it is hard to support these all students in the first year of our project we will more focus on the most underprivileged students like girls, poor, and displaced students. Furthermore, in Afghanistan, approximately 9 million students are which 39 percent is female. In our first-year school will support 10000 up to 30000 or more students in Afghanistan. For 5000 to 7000 students Which is the most underprivileged students will give them scholarships to study. The Scholarships are also dived into the categories Full Funded, Partially Funded. However, the student who has a good economic situation should pay the fee to keep the school activities. The total amount of student that we will give them services is approximately 10000 up to 30000 students which involve 5000 students who get scholarships. Our project scope is large but in the first year, it is hard to support all parts. In the future, we will make the number of scholarships more by convincing international and national organizations to support us. This amount students more than 75 percent of these students will learn in online mode which new technologies like AI, ML help more school to give more services without more employees. On the other hand, schools will have services on campus as well, however, in this part school will support 20 percent of this number due to this part needing teachers and classes and more services.         

In the second year, the scale and scope of the project become wider. In the second year, we will more focus to have services for displaced students and teach them the skills which can help them to find and land a job. In addition, the other goal that will support by this project in the second year is to make courses and tutorials for a student who wants to study broadly in foreign countries through international scholarships for their undergraduate degree. Direct Code completions clubs for students and register our organization in Erasmus plus project. Develop the new version of applications with new futures and add new AI technologies to apps. On the other hand, if we have enough budget make the second branch of our school in other big provinces to have on-campus services for students. In the second year, the school will more focus to make classes for high aged women to learn literacy and basic writing and reading skills which have more impact among high aged women. The other goal for the second year is to direct more classes that improve the soft skills of students like programming, public speaking, academic writing. Make more job ground for Afghans to be a part of the school. The following goals are the main goals that our project has for the second year. On the other side, offer more scholarships for students than the previous year. Additionally, make clubs like code computations, book club, and public speaking club for students.    

Every single human needs knowledge and education at different levels for all. School is the fundamental need of children of all ages. The progress of the project starts from creating applications and renting an office to direct and manage our works. In addition, to developing perfect platforms, the most important factor in the project is the applications. It needs more research to find a company to make this application for the project in a foreign country due to in Afghanistan technology companies are not improving much. A professional mentor will assist to make perfect apps. On the other hand, convincing the Taliban government by ethic elders to give the license to start and implement the project in Afghanistan. In the other step, create a useful curriculum with governmental curriculum and create a personal group from professional instructors and employees to record lessons and materials. Furthermore, if I divide the project into three parts, the first, is and the most important is the applications to develop. Second, to get a license and solve legal issues, third, create a professional team. These three steps are the most important steps to get and archive the goal of certain. All parts have their role to make a project successful, especially the applications. The measure I think is more suit for my project from start-up implement and end are these three steps. My project has supported two or three UN sustainability goals.                             

In Afghanistan, challenges and barriers are more to start and implement a project that has an impact on people. Afghanistan is a developing and post-war country one of the biggest problems that the project will face to it is in the first step is funding and financial challenges due to everything that you want to do in a project needing money to make and implement it. Firstly, funding and financial part are the most important part that might limit our project impact, especially when want to make the scope of the project wider. Second, getting a license and legal issues are the other barrier that will impact our project after the collapse of the government system destroyed to take a license from the government and legal issues will face a problem that we need support to support us to solve these issues with the government. Third, the problem that will limit our impact is communications problems and the internet because all rural part of Afghanistan does not have access to the internet and the bad quality of the internet is the other problem that makes problem for students to have access to education. These three barriers make project impact limited.

I understand the problem in my community and I decided to make my project in the education sector to support students to have access to equal and quality education. In addition, this project is a big project and needs and good and professional group to implement it. First, I want to give some information about my background and skills. I start my journey in social works, volunteering works when I was 13 years old, I start to learn English and computer and teach it. I have participated in many social organizations as a volunteer and team leader. During school, I have led more than 5 programs and during university, I have made many projects, participated in and lead clubs and events in the university. As a Junior student of computer science has learned to program and made some projects. The team which I want to work with them is my classmates in the university which they all have the same background as me and this point will make our project more powerful. I and my team are all fluent in English they are more committed, ambitious, and highly driven students in the faculty. In addition, we have done projects with each other to develop class projects. Furthermore, the other point that makes our project stronger and more efficient is they all study computer science and our project will implement through technology they are all familiar with it. Moreover, our network in university assists us to find a force of work for our project and have the support of university professors to implement this project more efficiently. We are the young generation of post-war country we understand how education can change people life we are more committed to having an impact inside society and being an agent of change.             

Currently, I am a student at university I have a partnership with European, Asian, African countries organizations like SMEs, Schools. We are connected through WhatsApp in group and we are now working on one Erasmus Plus project which is a big project supported by European Union. I try to be the first person that registers the Afghani organization in the Erasmus Plus project. First, I want to register for my university and the second my School project in this program. We work as partners with each other lead of the project is on the hand of a Romanian professor. If our project is approved, we will find a chance to make exchange students in our partner countries. In addition, this will be a unique achievement in my country and for my project that makes it global and the project will get in all part support.

One of my three goals for my new project is to have services for girls and women in Afghanistan. Nothing like education can change the life of this category of society education will help them to become independent in the future. By learning new skills in our school, they will able to have a job in future. By learning soft skills and the English language the route of new opportunities will open for all of this part of society. After the collapse, all services are stopped for women's education, work, activities, and more. My project for MIT Youth Innovation Challenge is in the education sector the main aim of my project is to help girls and women in my country to have a chance to learn, work, and achieve their goals. My project is qualified for Pozen Social Innovation Prize for two reasons, first, this action will change the life quality of girls now and in the future. Second, make them independent and open the door of opportunities for them. This prize will help my project to support more girls in Afghanistan and make the ground that many professional and educated women come and work for our project. After the collapse, the majority of the women become jobless if we get this prize will make a ground for women who want to work with us. This action will have a high effect on their life, especially in these bad circumstances to support themselves and their families. The girls will have a chance to study with female teachers this action will help my project become wider due to Afghanistan being a cultural country this action will help more to expand the services. the following reasons show my project is more suitable for this prize I have a plan to make a change in the life of Afghan girls and women. If we camper it to the European country and American country to Afghanistan the living level of girls and women in Afghanistan is too bad it is about 6 months education is stopped for girls after the collapse. Afghan girls and women need assistance to achieve their basic fundamental rights of life and achieve their dreams in the future. With this prize, we will have more budget to support more and more women.
