Multi-purpose Hospital health Assistant Robot is an Innovation aimed at helping help person to curtail infection risks they stand to face while performing their task in hazardous and infectious places like mortuaries, Tuberculosis wards, Covid-19 isolation centers which are so much prone to infection risk.
therefore this Innovation provides contactless hospital management by there health personels while executing their tasks.
Robotics is one of the fields in technology which has to come to fight and health reduce infections among the health persons in the hospitals. This Innovation is developed with a series of technologies like machine learning, artificial intelligence and internet of things.
In 2020, a family member of mine succumbed to Tuberculosis contracted from the mortuary during execution of his tasks this is due to exposure to infected bodies of tuberculosis and poor structure work environment.
Three million percutaneous exposures occur yearly among 35 million health personels (WHO) and over 90% occurring in developing countries like Africa and specially Uganda.
This is brought due to luck of enough Personal protective equipment, Hazardous hospital environment, poor hospital structures like mortuaries
Multi-purpose hospital health assistant robot is here to curtail the infection risks health personels always face in the hospitals by providing a contactless hospital management.
Adoption of this technology will help improve on the productivity of the health persons and safe guard the health personels as well
we have conducted a market survey and analyzed the user requirements which have supported the development process of this innovation and we have a prove of great need of this innovation in the health sector.

Our Innovation is designed in the following technologies;
Hardware: this technology which has helped us to develop the robot structure like wheels, arms, body. it consist of various hardware components like motors, sensors and many more.
machine Learning: we used this technology to help us train machine models to allow the robot to have human interaction in the hospital. several algorithm was design to train the robot.
Artificial Intelligence: this technology helped us to make our robot have human intelligence while performing the hospital tasks.
Internet of things: thus technology is one that we used to enable connectivity of our robot and other hospitals equipment
