NRP COMBATS CORRUPTION IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC OFFICES TO ENSURE THE RIGHT PERSONS ARE SELECTED FOR JOBS, OPPURTUNITIES AND OFFERS IRRESPECTIVE OF TRIBE, RELIGION, ETHNICITY AND SOCIO-STANCE.

What is your solution?

OUR SOLUTION AUTOMATES THE WHOLE RECRUITING PROCESS OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONTHEREBY ELIMINATING THE USUAL MANUAL PROCESS AND ENSURES ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, APPLICANTs AND ADMINS ARE ALLOWED TO INPUT DETAILS AND CRITERIAS BUT ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ALTER THE WHOLE PROCESS.

THE SOFTWARE USES AN AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY THAT MATCHES APPLICATIONS WITH WITH CRITERIAS AND PRODUCES AUTOMATIC SHORTLISTING MAIL TO APPLICANTS.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

CHALLENGE OF TRANSPARENCY IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN THE ASPECT OF RECRUITING, PROMOTION, AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC OFFICES.

According to 2020 corruption perception index by transparency international Nigeria was ranked 149th.
A research by UNODC : “Corruption in Nigeria Patterns and Trends” showed that 63% of Nigerians who had contact with at least one public official 30% of them gave a bribe to secure their way to public offices ?!
In 2014, a report on immigration service, where 15 unemployed youths died including pregnant women from a stampede, the country experienced a scary scenario where 6.5million Nigerians applied for 4000 jobs.

Our solution will ensure the transparency during the whole process of their applications for offers in public offices.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

WORLD BANK RELEASED A DOCUMENT : “COMBATING CORRUPTON” IN OCT 19, 2021 THAT SHOWS THE CREDIBILITY OF GOV-TECH IN COMBATING CORRUPTION IN GOVERNANCE.

TARGET AUDIENCE RESEARCH WE DID IN OCTOBER 22ND-25TH 2021 SHOWS OUR SOLUTION AS A VERITABLE TOOL IN ENSURING TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION.

OUR SOLUTION OFFERS A MORE TRANSPARENT PROCESS SINCE THE ENTIRE PROCESS IS AUTOMATED AND HENCE THERE IS A THIRD PARTY COMING BETWEEN THE USERS AND THE ADMINS

Explain why you selected this stage of development for your solution—in other words, what have you accomplished to date?

The NRP is at the prototype stage currently, we have so far researched with our prototype with 56 public officials, worthy of note is that the solution was selected as a winner of the recent anticorruption software during the recent Coding4integrity Hackathon organized by the United Nations office on drugs and corruption. The solution has been presented to world Leaders during a high level event during the United Nations summit COSP in 2021 and presented also during the World Youth Forum in Egypt 2022.
