This website will help girls ages between 12-18 use a platform in terms of handling difficulties that they are experiencing.

Our website will help girls with psychological problems related to study, family, and other issues related to teenage life. Talking AI technology will help advise and talk to girls, and girls can also write letters and send them to our site. Our consultants will help them think more positively. So, we are also girls and girls can understand each other. We will design the website the clearest and easy to use, not complicated things. Also, the website will have a post-story part like their story will be up there, for this we will ask them first if they want us to share their story but in a hidden name. Our website will advertisement spread and highlight that this only for girls, girls with girls, no boys here

The specific problem that we trying to solve is suicide in Vietnam. The scale of the problem in my community is quite heavy, as you know that teenager is the future of a nation, day by day, approximately 2 teenager suicide. The number of people affected is uncountable, this problem doesn’t express out. Nowadays, in Vietnam we have many cases related to teenage girls' suicide because of pressure and bullying, especially in their hometown, there are thousands of teenage girls are being bitten by their parent or sexism that effect their mental health and health seriously. This is the main situation of young girls in Vietnam, many thought that this was over in Vietnam but no, it still continues silently and almost every day.

So, our website will have 3 main features for teenagers to choose from: writing letters, chatting (texting), or talking to Siri Vietnamese edition. These features will prevent the information to the public, which means no one knows that is your story. From research's said that when a difficult situation expresses out loud and someone gives advice, the negative thoughts will go down. That is the main reason why we create this website, to help teenagers ages 13-18 years old release stress, pressure, negative thoughts that lead to suicide. The situation of girls in Bien Hoa is quite big, especially happens where families live in an apartment or motel room, they are being bitten by their parents to death and suicide having the pressure of grades a lot. We also knew that in hometown this situation is worst, that’s why we want to create this website

Kitty is our team leader, she had a friend who committed suicide when she is 13 years old, she suicides because of school and family pressure. So that’s why we decide to create this website, our team has researched that the age of teenagers is rebellious, they can’t think wisely or decide something easily and also have negative thoughts more than adults. If they overcome this age, that’s mean they grew up and become adults that can decide the way they go wisely

We are in the process of developing the features of the app. We were also part of the project about NFTE. Because we want to level up and explore the possibilities of being mentored by MIT. The idea was just conceived a few weeks ago so we are still ensuring that we will be able to gather all the needed information in order to further review and validate our innovation.      

Instead of creating an app, we choose to create a website first then, if possible, we will create an app to let everyone download it. Website will help them use easily and can search our website right away. No need to download or anything, not everyone has many gigabytes to download because of their phone. To further enhance the specification of our website, we will be using software that can manage the management of forums, discussions, and queries of our users. We will also be using virtual assistants for better accessibility.

Our target will locate all across Bien Hoa first, we choose them because they are teenagers, they are easy rebellion and can’t think and choose the solution wisely, and sometimes will lead to negative thoughts easily. Bien Hoa is where we are living right now and we have already seen various cases in Bien Hoa happening right now

Our solution will be effective because we have read and researched this problem in our location, if we have professors about mental health to collaborate and help us, this project would 100% come true and be useful that can save thousands of teenagers in Vietnam. If they are able to use our app, they will relieve stress and pressure through time by time and can figure out the way to go for that problem.

• For the first 3 months, we will introduce the website to the public through social media
• 3 months later, we will introduce it to schools and collaborate with them and also companies that have a suitable product for girls to solve the problem
• 7 months later, we will enhance to create an app or sooner and our target here is going to have approximately 1000 girls use our website and solve their problem

We want to help at least 100 girls that will share their stories and we can help them with their stories

We have also incorporated indicators related to:

1. Health and wellbeing

2. Access to consultations and health services

3. Capacity building in fighting against discrimination

Financial because we need to hire some workers or anyone that are adults to do and make our website continues. Day by day there will be thousands of teenagers will use our website to have advice or the solution. Also, we need technical support since we are still high school students, especially the Ai Vietnamese version.

We will need professors who study mental health or about health, also about technology too. So, our first target place is in Bien Hoa so we need to collaborate with them to help the girls about it like they can chat with a doctor or talk to them through our website. In addition, Hoan My, Au co, Da khoa Ai Nghia is 1 of the hospital in Bien Hoa have. Also, organizations for girls are important, we would like to contact: Girl up, Girls on the Run and She’s the first.

We want to provide a solution for girls and also, we want girls in Vietnam to grow up and become proud of themselves, love themselves and can protect, decide what path they go.
