WeaTemps Reinventing Labour
Socially immersed start-up disrupting WORK with contemporary technologies to hasten employability in the Post-COVID19 era for an economy that affords everyone the opportunity to lead a dignified and productive life.
In the wake of COVID-19, the world will experience a socially catastrophic era, the economy will be shattered, while unemployment will be at its peak. Built to attract and serve millions of populations, WeaTemps is a socially immersed start-up pioneering in the reinventing of labour by transforming and validating temporary employment into a binding catalyst for income for a world where everyone can secure a portion of income to provide food, good health and education to their families. WeaTemps integrates mixed reality technologies into temporary work to reduce repair times, decrease errors, streamline complex workflows, re-skill and up-skill disadvantaged populations, and improve training quality & productivity.
From temporary work slaughtering animals in a downtown abattoir in Lima – to cleaning weapons in a gorgeous army garrison in Reykjavík………. Just scroll through our platform pages, we will temp all work. My solution imaginatively transforms and validates temporary employment to hasten employability of underprivileged populations globally who due to social, economic and educational backgrounds and or disability status, gender, religion and sexual orientation, are at a distance from the labour market during these catastrophic COVID-19 eras.
The pandemic has led to the loss of the equivalent of 255 million full-time Jobs, about 4x the number lost during the global financial crisis that engulfed the world between 2007 and 2009 according to the SDGs Report 2021. Now machines will take away even more jobs, replacing about 85 million jobs by 2025 according to the World Economic Forum, resulting into decent jobs being replaced with gig-economy work. 36% of US workers already take part in the gig economy and 33% of companies extensively use gig workers. In 2017 the US gig-economy had 55 million participants. A gig economy is a free market system in which temporary positions are common & employers can hire independent workers for short-term commitments. According to Edison Research 53% of gig workers aged 18-34 have their work in the gig economy as their primary income source. The Global Temporary Labor Market size was valued at USD 467.25 Billion in 2020 and is projected to reach USD 765.20 Billion by 2028. Growing at a CAGR of 6.38% from 2021 to 2028.
The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened unemployment in both poor and developed countries. Initially, considered a phenomena of the third world, informal economies are now expanding rapidly in the free market nations of the western world. Gig-work is now very common in the US. Denis a 64-year-old cousin to U.S. Senator Marco Rubio lived in nice homes for decades until her divorce in 2003. Now she has no income and cannot afford rent. Applicants for subsidized housing face years on a waiting list. Those in need of emergency shelter find beds often full and sleep in the streets. As they struggle to find safe places to park and night-dwell into their cars, moving from state to state, WeaTemps brings in good news. No more nomad moving because the next job could be next door if your profile is up on the WeaTemps platform.
With all that unemployment turmoil, I realized an opportunity to create a business model (WeaTemps) that would scatter earnings to be shared with millions of unemployed disadvantaged populations worldwide who due to social, economic and educational backgrounds and or disability status, color, ethnicity or race, class, gender, religion and sexual orientation, are at a distance from the labour market for everyone to feed during these pandemic cause unemployment upsurge. Temps subscribe to our platform, indicating their location, skills, qualifications, extraordinary activities or skills, what they could offer differently and their charge per hour or a one-off fee & reviews.
I happened to work with poor marginalized communities who included street vendors, garbage collectors, sex workers, and young female domestic workers, building their capacities to secure micro-financing, confront exploitation, defend their rights and providing for their mental health well-being. The time spent with these marginalized communities won me the spirit, passion and wealth of knowledge of how best programmes can benefit their needs. According to the SDGs Report 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the loss of the equivalent of 255 million full-time Jobs, about 4x the number lost during the global financial crisis that engulfed the world between 2007 and 2009. WeaTemps is for purpose, global and represent employees not employers. We impact communities through creative transformation and validation of temporary employment, to hasten employability for an economy that affords everyone the opportunity to lead a dignified and productive life. For example WeaTemps incorporates trading as the world’s largest digital news merchants, vending globally from a large news collection hub where the global population can upload fresh news on to the WeaTemps app.
- Improving financial and economic opportunities for all (Economic Prosperity)
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
I’m currently accomplishing the prototype [https://weatemps.com/] and expect to test the platform early April 2022. Vimar (vimar.ie), a website builder company based in Ireland is building the platform alongside my technology application inputs, currently I'm working closely with them to configure the back-end.
- A new use of an existing technology (e.g. application to a new problem or in a new location)
WeaTemps disrupts work with contemporary technologies, including
mixed realities technologies to enable reduce risk of human error,
reduce repair times, streamline complex workflows and improve work
efficiency to transform and validate temporary employment into a binding
catalyst for income. WeaTemps addresses challenges posed by automation
and digitization in poor countries due to lack of investment in digital
infrastructures and absence of robust legal frameworks for
digitalization.
My startup formalizes mercenaries/temporary combatants who engage
into war for a fee, this comes with severe penalties for war crimes, to
save millions of lives of children, women, and the old during violence.
Combatants also benefit by utilizing our GPS system for safety.
WeaTemps reinvents newfangled approaches towards temping as illustrated in the pitch-deck; our state-of-the-art digital news merchandising venture is set to build and host an application that enables anyone anywhere to swiftly capture or shoot news from their location worldwide directly into our hub app. The news merchandising venture will feed the World’s both giant and small media with timely ‘Breaking news’. Configured to accelerate data transmitting speed, the app is developed to conquer fear for low speed in order to realize high speed voice and visual data transmission, making sure the signal is at top performance at all times and kept up and running even when connections drop.

WeaTemps expects to serve between 16 and 20 million people in the next year following launching in April 2022
At least every person of employment age will have a share of the world’s cake, a portion of income. A larger population surviving on less than a dollar a day will have their incomes increased simultaneously. They will be able to afford at least two meals a day which will enhance underprivileged families’ nutrition. This will lessen disease worldwide, making the world a better place. My target is to have 16 million people worldwide subscribed on the WeaTemps platform. Our percentage earnings in the initial year will be used to build big-data of blue-prints of different items that can be repaired and link these to VR glasses. The glasses can then be used by different hubs in the developing world to up-skill and re-skill disadvantaged peoples know-how hence hastening sustainable employment of jobless youth in underdeveloped countries and creating employment for 5+ million populations that have lost long-term employment.
As mentioned above, the COVID-19 bug has knocked us further off-track to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). WeaTemps works towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals 1 & 8 and integrates smart technologies to up-skill and re-skill disadvantaged people’s know-how during this time as unemployment gets to its peak due to the Pandemic and automation. The increasing adoption of AI will result in decent jobs being replaced with gig-economy work. Nevertheless 36% of US workers already take part in the gig economy and 33% of companies extensively use gig workers. In 2017 the US gig-economy had 55 million participants. A gig economy is a free market system in which temporary positions are common and employers can hire independent workers for short-term commitments. It is defined as a labor market characterized by the prevalence of short-term commitments. In the US, employers are hiring temporary gig-workers over full-time employees for several reasons, just over two-fifths (41 percent) of business owners said they hired gig workers to address temporary needs, while slightly more than half (50.8 percent) said they required gig workers’ expertise.
Below are the measurable indicators to use to measure progress towards my impact goals;
- Number of people worldwide subscribed to our platform every year
- Number of people worldwide recruited for temporary work every year
- Any significant changes in poor countries’ GDP after 5 years
The currently major barriers are two; Capital funds to engage different aspects like urgent need to develop a mobile app and securing a co-founder who has taken on his or her technology education in a developed country.
I have the minimum knowledge of computer programming & cloud applications. Passionate about automation, computer perception innovations and exceptionally talented in cyber entrepreneurship with integrated social and commercial IT business skills.
