Remote classes for the displaced in the camps of Yemen
Providing tools to help displaced people from the war in Yemen to continue their education using audio-visual technologies from schools that were not affected by the war.
Supporting the continuation of education for displaced students in the Yemeni camps by making classrooms that depend on direct or indirect audio-visual transmission techniques from schools that have not been affected by the current war, and the communication will be transferred and linking the displaced students in the camps to valid schools using remote Internet transmission tools that bear distances Large transport, which does not require the presence of infrastructure and prefabricated buildings, but uses air waves to transport and transmit for distances exceeding 12 km, such as airFiber to communicate effectively, and through this idea, the displaced students can continue their education in parallel with the students of regular education through the presence of screens and speakers that display live or recorded scenes For the teacher and the classroom in good schools that have not been affected by the war and are followed up and watched by the displaced students, and the educational levels of the students are taken care of, and through the presence of visual and audio recording tools on the one hand of the displaced students, providing the possibility of interaction and discussion with the teacher and students on the other side.
The problem that I am trying to solve is the problem of displaced students in Yemeni camps who have stopped continuing their education and are out of school and trying to provide innovative solutions to support them and provide tools and environments that help them continue their education normally. This problem has had a significant impact on Yemeni society since 2015 until this moment. And the number of students who are outside school seats and who are in the Yemeni camps is about 2 million, and one of the factors that help this problem persist is the continuation of the war, the demolition of most schools, the suspension of teachers’ salaries, the lack of textbooks and stationery, and this problem has serious consequences for society in the near future. As far as what many international and local organizations warn of the continued stay of students outside school seats who may be used as human shields in wars, this is a statistic from UNICEF www.unicef.org/yemen/education

The solution serves the category of displaced students who were unable to complete their education due to the current war in Yemen, and this solution will affect their lives by being in school again and supporting them to complete their education in light of the current war, which will provide a positive impression on their life path in the coming period. Most of them are children under the age of 18, and they constitute the majority of the displaced Yemenis who fled the war, which number more than 4 million, according to UNHCR, of whom children constitute more than half, and they are currently suffering from a significant lack of basic and humanitarian services, and from The most important of them is the right to education, as it has been lost since a year 2015 and the solution that I seek to present will provide a continuity of education service in parallel with education in some schools that were not affected by the war

From the first sight, this is considered self-evident through the live viewing of the camps on the ground, on television and in social media, and through reports submitted by the United Nations and local organizations, I learned about the problem of the displaced persons in the camps dropping out of school for long periods without alternatives or real and sustainable solutions I wanted to make a field visit to search deeply and closely, but I faced a problem that the officials in these camps do not accept individual interaction and cooperation.
- Improving learning opportunities and outcomes for learners across their lifetimes, from early childhood on (Learning)
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea
According to what I mentioned above, the concept needs implementation, feasibility study, actual planning, identification and timing of tools and people precisely for its implementation, and this stage that I have not done so far because it requires financial resources and local and external approval to implement this idea
- A new use of an existing technology (e.g. application to a new problem or in a new location)
The technologies on which the implementation of the idea depends, consist of two parts, the presentation and interaction section, and the transport and connectivity section. The first section will rely on pre-existing technologies to manage the visual and audio interaction and enable visual and audio communication, such as the program Zoom and Microsoft Team and other programs that provide such services from both parties. Where the Department of Transport and Connection, through my studies and my knowledge of the infrastructure in my country I know that it is impossible to use means of communication such as ADSL primitive and others in the camp areas and even areas that were not affected by the war, but there is a highly efficient alternative which is AirFiber through which the party providing the education service can be linked with the beneficiaries, who are the displaced students at great distances ranging from 12 km to 20 km, it does not require the presence of means of communication such as optical cables or fixed telephone lines, etc. and it is completely under our control

Number of people I am expected to serve next year: 500.000 Person
Through the application of this idea, it will have a very big impact on the life of the target group in the short term by changing the current situation of a large group of displaced people who have not completed their education due to displacement and their presence in remote camps from basic services such as schools. Through this idea and its application, it will have an impact on their feelings Their feelings and that they have human rights have usually been like their access to basic education like students around the world and that the war and its impact did not prevent them from that, and in the long run, by educating the group affected by the current war, we guarantee and significantly reduce the start of future conflicts and wars because of the factors The continuation of wars is ignorance and targeting of children who have not received a good education or who are outside the scope of education
The standards and tools that I will rely on after one year are international standards in measuring the impact and verifying the proper implementation of the plan and benefiting from the use of well-functioning project management and human resources tools such as questionnaires , personal interviews , structured note , factual records , note lists , Scales of appreciation
The most important concerns that I fear will occur is the lack of cooperation of the second party, the schools who were not affected by the war, in providing parallel education to the displaced students in the camps, and also one of the fears is the difficulty of convincing some local educational authorities to accept students who have joined this parallel education in the camps and to issue accredited completion certificates In addition to the problems of importing used technical tools from outside the country and obtaining proper permits to use
At the moment I am working on my own on the idea and developing it, but when I find enough resources to implement the idea and make it real, I will need at least a field coordinator for one side of the displaced students in the camps and a coordinator on the other side of the schools that were not affected by the war as well. I will need an accountant to follow up on financial matters and technical technicians To arrange and install technical equipment, to business development consultants and to a group of volunteers
At the present time, I work for someone, as I am still a student in the field of information technology, and I am trying to apply my technical information to provide solutions that contribute to reducing the problems faced by my community and my country.

Certainly, this kind of ideas and practices will serve an unimaginable societal way in terms of education and will have a real and tangible impact in this aspect, which lacks attention and has many unmet needs, which will help young people and girls to exercise their human rights such as quality education, building their future and psychological rehabilitation using education from the effects of war
