To help reduce the use of electricity and introduce the use of clean and renewable energy and help with recycling.
A charging cable that uses solar energy to power to power gadgets. It is an aux cable that does not connect to anything other than a device that it charges. It does not connect to a power bank or an adapter. This cable will be made out of recycled material for finishing product and other accessories needed for the product.
The problem of climate change and environmental problem caused by the dependence of fossil fuel and also tackling the problem of recycling material. How our households and everything around us is mostly dependent on electricity causing pollution. This problem is causing big problems in my community for people and the environment. The consequences of this issue results in air pollution and global warming.
The target users is everyone. The utilization of the product does not only end with those that will mostly benefit from it, but it expands to everyone globally. The product is mostly for people who are in poor communities. People who do not have access to electricity but it expands to everyone as it's to help the environment and the people. The innovation will help them them as not everyone can afford a power bank or a solar panel, they travel to the nearest centers or schools to get supply.
Customer discovery interviews were done to understand the market demand of this innovation. Created an environment where potential users gave opinions about the idea of it, explaining to potential users the design of it.

A prototype is built to see if the use of concept and information gathered can be used to align the prototype with the research. To see if the prototype will meet the people's expectations and how people will react to it.

The innovation is a small solar powered cable that charges devices. It charges devices using renewable energy helping to reduce the relying of fossil fuel and reduce pollution. It also uses recycled material for finishing the product and accessories. Not everyone can afford a power bank or a solar panel especially on areas where there is no power supply. This technology is powered by direct sunlight, and is finished using recycled material. The recycled material will make it easy for sunlight to enter through and power the devices.

The goal is to help reduce the pollution caused by fossil fuel and introduce a greener solution. Change peoples behavior and attitude about how they view renewable energy and the impacts it can have not only to the environment but also to us people. Show people that not everything that is thrown away cannot be used again and this can be achieved by teaching people the importance of recycling and what can recycled material do, saving the environment.

The innovation aims to give safe, reliable power supply, helping lower the need for communities that do not have power supply to travel long distances to get power to charge. There are communities that do not have access to power supply, so people walk to their nearest community service buildings to get power. This makes it dangerous for women and girls to walk a distance to get power supply. Some people cannot also afford power banks to power their devices especially when they travel. The innovation helps woman and girls to have access to power from anywhere, making it easy for them to have access to easy contact in case of emergency. The prize will help the team to introduce new features pf the innovation that can be used in different ways to make it more interactive and easy to the users.
