Chemotronix
Chemotronix helps to tackles carbon emissions through the use of IoT devices deployed with AI models which provides adequate data for companies & government to utilize appropriate solutions.
Our solution is a synergy between an IoT device and an A.I model hosted online with various dashboards for monitoring. The IoT device senses greenhouse gasses( CO2, CO and CH4,N20) in the air, records the value and logs it online in the database. Over time, as we collect data, we can instantly view it on the dashboard online. After the readings are taken, they are logged to the database in the cloud, hence compiling a pool of data for the deployed location.
The software tool consists of a dashboard for viewing the readings taken by the IoT device in a graph-like structure, an A.I tool to predict the carbon concentration in the past or future. The A.I algorithm predicts the amount of carbon in another location, and can forecast the amount of carbon concentration. This A.I tool also provides insights on the data gathered, and influences the carbon removal method, which could be planting of trees, or other advanced carbon sequestration methods.
The device can be deployed in strategic locations to effectively track the carbon emission, this ranges from generator houses in homes to HVACs in industries.
Chemotronix aims to solve the problem of climate change by providing a solution to assist in decarbonizing the earth.
A 2008 study found that for every degree Celsius the temperature rises because of CO2 levels, Ozone pollution can be expected to kill an additional 22,000 people via respiratory illness, asthma, and emphysema. CO2 levels dramatically increase pollution levels and related diseases, these cause extreme weather events including deadly heat waves, and broaden the ranges of disease-carrying creatures like mosquitoes and ticks. This has threatened the livelihood of human, animal, and life generally.
Energy is a crucial need for the world. We all need energy to carry out activities as individuals, organizations, etc. The Oil and Gas Industry has been the major supplier of energy for years in Africa, which has been a major source of carbon emissions. There is an urgent need to decarbonize various sectors in Africa, especially those with high use of fossil fuels.
It has led to climate changes and global warming, desertification of fertile land, food supply disruption, etc.
Reducing carbon emissions to ensure we achieve net zero as a planet by 2050 is of priority to Chemotronix.
Chemotronix can be utilized by Governments, Organizations and Individuals in general. We attend major summits on climate change in Africa and the world at large to improve the solution.
The solution would help governments, organizations and individuals reduce their carbon emissions.
Access to real time data will ensure everyone takes responsibility for their actions. It will also set targets that must be met yearly to ensure we meet our target by 2050.
We have used Nigeria as a case study. We have discussed with some stakeholders in the energy sector. The response has been welcoming so far.
We believe with more resources, our product will achieve its fullest potential and start yielding positive results.
- Taking action to combat climate change and its impacts (Sustainability)
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
We only created a model. It is yet to be adopted by any organization, individual or government.
- A new use of an existing technology (e.g. application to a new problem or in a new location)
Data Science, Artificial intelligence and IoT.
We look forward to incorporating hydrogen, Cheaper lithium batteries, Carbon credit, carbon capture and blockchain technologies.
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Blockchain
- Internet of Things
- Software and Mobile Applications

We plan to start deploying our solution across various organizations , then push it to the government. Through this, Individuals will adopt it.
We believe we can start with Nigeria, some African countries, some European countries, Asian and American countries so as to be representative of the global population.
Our dashboard provides real time data which gathers insight and enables everyone to know the current situation of things. We also hope to partner with UN- Sustainable energy for all
We currently lack Financial, Legal and Infrastructural resources.
Our team is made up of 2 males and 2 females, representative of gender inclusion. Our skillset is balanced across UI/UX, data science, Hardware construction (IoT), etc.
The team Lead (Peace Bello) has participated in various conferences, competition across Africa and America. He has presented papers, interned with an energy Company and has a wide network of stakeholders in the energy sector across the world. He has also demonstrated leadership skills across various teams and communities. Peace is currently a final year Chemical engineering student and is researching Cheaper ways of Carbon capture while Upscaling hydrogen production in Africa. He is also working on Open source projects while advancing his blockchain knowledge.
Victor is a data scientist who is very vast and participated in various hackathons and deploys his electrical engineering knowledge to build IoT devices. He is currently in his final year of studies.
Boluwatife is also an electrical Engineering student who is highly skilled at UI/UX. Boluwatife has background in Brand management ad has helped various communities in organizing successful events in Nigeria.
Fisayo is a computer engineering student also skilled at UI/UX and other software requirements.
We are currently partnering with none but we look forward to partnering with Energy companies like Schlumberger, Shell, Total Energies, etc. and Technology companies like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Intel etc.
