A unique tool for teachers around the world that tells what their students need to learn in a personalized way using artificial intelligence.

What is your solution?

This project is a website type Classroom which any student in the world can enter, as well as their teachers, in order to detect in which areas the student excels and has the greatest liking in order to give the student courses according to this results without neglecting the basic knowledge that every child needs, but focused on topics of interest. This would be carried out by the hand of their local teacher who would supervise in the schools the correct work of the children, but the classes as such would be taught by teachers from all over the world depending on the native language of the child. Thus, children from underdeveloped countries or with a shortage of teachers can have first-rate education and on a par with any other child, in addition to making school a happier place because they will learn according to the interests of each one. This would also prevent children with difficulties from feeling underappreciated for not being at the same level as their peers, for example, mathematics because they will learn basic knowledge at their own pace and although they would go slower in mathematics they may be seeing something advanced in other areas.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

My solution solves the problems of educational backwardness in underdeveloped and developing countries, as well as strengthens education in developed countries. This with the mission that each child receives the education they need without neglecting the rest of the class because each child is a world and learns differently, just like everyone has different types of interests which are often left aside or they are minimized because there is no way to develop them, since if a child lives in an area where there are no art teachers, but shows they have skills and apart from that they like how they could learn. Another problem that will be solved will be the educational lag because there are children who cost them certain subjects and need more patience to learn something that a conventional classroom could not because the teacher is one and cannot be delayed by a student, instead of with a personalized education this student can be with more children with their difficulties without having to change schools or even cities since not all families have the possibility of contracting private classes or there is no one in their town who teaches them, especially in countries where there are families where the priority is to eat and survive, not to study.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

This project will impact the lives of hundreds of people because it will help in the education of unimaginable numbers of children, which in turn will translate into future adults capable of helping their community to get ahead because it is well known that the greatest long-term strategy to for a society to advance is the education of its people. Just like being a free platform, since I would not like to privatize education, anyone could access it even if you are an adult who wants to learn something new. In addition, by having courses not only of basic knowledge but also of practical activities, children and adults who cannot access a university education as such can in their school time or even outside of it prepare in trades and various activities such as mechanics or learn to be an electrician which would give them a job opportunity in the future and therefore better-living conditions.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

According to the Center for Advanced Research in Education of the University of Chile, about 40% of teachers leave the classroom in the first five years which means a delay in the education of hundreds of young people and a teacher crisis, something that my project would solve because it would connect with teachers from other cities and even countries.

Only in Mexico, according to INEGI, for reasons associated with COVID-19 or due to lack of money or resources or school closures, 5.2 million people (9.6% of the total 3 to 29 years old) did not enroll for the 2020-2021 school year, a truly alarming figure and even more so if it is considered that by 2023 there will be more teacher positions than teachers in training, which will lead to a crisis where classrooms will have to be enlarged and therefore there will be more difficulty in learning in an environment with a teacher stressed with the number of students.
