Enhanced Learning Features(ELF)
Enhanced Learning Feature(ELF) is a series of solution imploring technology to enhance learning in tertiary institutions with overcrowded lectures and poor learning methods
Enhanced Learning Features(ELF) given the present challenges students in tertiary institutions face from learning in overcrowded and non-conducive classrooms, we have identified a major connection between conducive learning environment and quality learning experience, part of the solutions includes solving visibility challenges for students seated far from the board, we simply will digital capture what the lecturers writes on the whiteboard, this captured data is processed and sent to the students phones so they can see the what is written on the whiteboard without having to seat close the board, we follow a decentralized approach here.
For the second part, we aim to improve the audio quality in classrooms that are overcrowded, as it is vital to the student's learning experience.
Here we also follow a decentralized approach, as students can bring their bluetooth speakers to class, and the sound captured is repeated in these speakers, eliminating the need to rely on a single speaker to propagate the sound across the classroom
And lastly, we have noticed that the ease of learning in classroom is poor due to the fact that quality information is not given, so we propose an A.I tool that can record, form notes, ask questions etc.
Particularly students in tertiary institutions with overcrowded classroom do not find learning exciting and engaging but rather stressful,
We seek to address the challenges that arise from the above cause.
In our university Federal University Of Technology Akure, Nigeria. A typical lecture theatre holds 750 students, but for any given class especially for freshers the number of students are as high as 1000. The issue of overcrowding can be solved digitally
In such environment visibility, audio and concentration reduces drastically, our solution aims to solve and enhance those parts using technology.
As for the factors contributing to the problems, it remains infrastructural deficit(we imply lack of lecture theatres that can comfortable accommodate the universities growing student populations) use of outdated sound and visual systems
As students in one of the affected universities, we seek to redress this challenges not just to our benefit but also that of others.
It is a much needed solution, currently in my university this conditions keep worsening.
We possess the technical skill and knowledge required to solve this problem.
Yes we have conducted our research and surveys, given also that it is also a challenge, we are suffering from in our tertiary institutions.
Without any doubt it is a much needed solution.
- Improving learning opportunities and outcomes for learners across their lifetimes, from early childhood on (Learning)
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
We are past the conceptual stage, as we are currently developing the prototypes, we are trying to raise funds to accelerate the development of these prototypes into products.
- A new use of an existing technology (e.g. application to a new problem or in a new location)
Embedded systems
Wireless technology

3200 this year from our university
200,000 next year from other universities
Impact goal is simply improve learning experience in tertiary institutuions
Currently we are working on the prototypes, after its completion.
We intend on seeking funding to make the solutions available to more students in various tertiary institution scattered across Nigeria
