The Nafi Foods Company is a company with the aim of producing oil and butter for cooking from peanuts to reduce hunger and poverty in Central African Republic.

What is your solution?

As we could see these two products are the most needed products in the CAR alimentation and we observe that it cost so expensive to our fellow citizens so our solution come we the aim of reducing the cost of these products.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

The population mostly living with 2$ a day and this condition we are observing the rarety of food products in the market.

For example the litter of oil for cooking cost nearly 3$ and peanut butter is also expensive the population who use to cook with these two products finds that so expensive and the most vulnerable could not afford it.

That why we exist we have for vision to make oil and peanuts butter for cooking in affordable prices to our fellow citizens.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

Our solution will serve the Central African Republic Citizens because we think that every body has a right to be provided by product that may help them to be feed safely and we think that it will serve also rural farmers as we should partner with them to be supplying by peanut so that they produce we transform and I think also that Nafi Foods Company will also create jobs to young people.

Basically we think that Nafi Foods Company will impact the life of many people indirectly and directly because we think that our customers who will by our products will find these products in the affordable prices, it will also provide jobs to young people who will see their lifes changed and also some farmers who will much gain from us as we should partner with them to buy peanut from them .

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

The step that I had been took to understand the need is firstly I am also a citizen and I am living in the same condition as my fellow citizens I understood the need from women in menage who plotting every day about the prices of these products in the market and from them I see the need.

I am also seeing how traders use to bring the oil from neighbours country and use to sell it expensively and it works so I see this need and opportunities at the same time that why the Idea of Nafi Foods Company was born.

What is the unmet need that your solution tried to address? Why is it important?

The unmet needs that our solution is try to address is expensivenes of oil and peanut butter in the market.

Our solution is important because in the Central African Republic people mostly use to cook Coco (the ngetum africanium) the Central African Republic preferred food it is mostly cooked with peanuts butter and never without oil and producing these products locally and in the affordable prices could just be a blessing for the population.

As this is a concept idea I choose this stage to show that Nafi Foods Company is just and Idea that I am committed to transform in the reality for the purpose of contributing in the life of my fellow citizens.
