Reusable sanitary pads
It reduces ecological impact in all aspects and safeguards women's health. It also breaks taboos about menstruation.

The reusable sanitary pads are made of 4 layers of organic cotton as it has absorbent properties. In itself, this product differs from the rest as it has a shelf life of 2 to 4 years and is therefore not commonly disposed of. In terms of women's health, conventional pads cause allergic rashes and irritation in the areas of protection. Finally, it overthrows various taboos as people would know what is involved in taking care of menstrual health.
In my local Peruvian community, many tennage girls do not have access to information about what menstruation really means, so they do not have easy access to disposable pads or how to cope with possible gynaecological diseases. An UNICEF menstrual hygiene guide notes about conventional pads and their impact: "As pads are disposed of after one use they create large quantities of litter, accumulate in landfills, block sanitation systems when thrown in toilets, and release toxins when burned incorrectly". It also mentions the consequences of their use: "There might be an association with urinary tract infections and bacterial vaginosis, and the use of damp materials can lead to skin irritations". Finally, there's a noticeable increase of pollution on many countries.
This product will help poor girls or women who do not have free access to information or sanitary pads to live a healthy life like everyone else. They could find an easy way to reduce their carbon footprint by using single-use sanitary pads.
I have researched on the internet about the situation of many women who don't know how to take care of themselves because they don't have the right information in their hands. I have always been curious about where all the things I use end up and I really want to make a clear change by recognising women's rights in terms of health.

- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea
It is an idea or solution that I have experimented with and I want other people to follow my goals. My idea must contain mistakes and things to plan in a better way, but what my project really has is the value of helping others and not getting something for it.
- A new project or business that relies on technology to be successful
I probably be the use or the collect of organic cotton because is not a simple material to get.

I just have an idea of my solution, It will be great If I could ask some people to take a look on my project but I think It will be great for many girls and women around my community.
My impact goals are helping other women to achieve knowledge about their body and how the use of reusable sanitary pads can make a big change for the environment.
How I said, It's not a clear idea, but I really want you to pay attention to my ideas and recognize how I am really excited to build a change for the society and the plant on the whole.
Financial and technical would be my barriers because I don't have a Capital to start my own bussiness.
