Building your Profile

To start using our platform, one needs to register and set up their profile as a learner, volunteer or educator. Volunteers can select up to a maximum of three topics that they wish to engage in

One-on-one learners queue Learners can connect to volunteers live through learners queue where they can get an answer to their query or learn a concept live. Volunteers can accept requests based on their proficient skill.

Assessing Quality through Feedback The quality of service being provided by volunteers and educators community is assessed through feedback form submitted by learners after every one-on-one interaction.

Continuous flow of education To maintain a proper flow of volunteers and learners on the platform to ensure minimum response time for a quality service, we encourage our learners to become volunteers in their learned skill set!

Modular Teaching methodology We impart global citizenship through basic skill awareness modules. These include researched content on 21st century skills like climate science, diversity and basic literacy and computing skills!

The COVID crisis in the past two years has undone decades of advancements and successes in the field of education. Millions of students in the world lack basic literacy and numerical skills. 58 million children of Primary School age are still denied the right to education. Rich can procure high-quality education for their children while the poor remain behind the scenes with no
engagement at all. In many of the developing countries like India, there are far too many people in villages where there is a lack of quality teachers and no proper guidance to the future lookout in the field of education.

Our platform remains promising in achieving free primary education for everyone around the world irrespective of education boards in the country or
state. 101 million or 9% of children in grades 1 to 8 fell below minimum reading proficiency levels in 2020. 12.6 million primary teachers were needed to be recruited by 2020.

According to the recent NSSO survey, 2017-18, in urban areas unemployment among educated women was twice their male counterparts. For rural educated women, unemployment stood at 17.3 per cent in 2017-18 increasing sharply from 9.7 per cent in 2011-12. Our platform would engage educated women in educational activities of primary children for training them in basic key skills and also to enhance the learning outcome through one-to-one conversations in addition to modular learning.

We aim to provide free and quality education to every child irrespective of their social, cultural, geographical and economic background. We aim to reduce illiteracy and incompetency through quality and effective education through the use of technology. Our platform would engage educated women in educational activities of primary children for training them in basic key skills and also enhance the learning outcome through one-to-one conversations in addition to modular learning.

This platform will help the under-represented populations, students from rural and low-income backgrounds get basic education as a right free of cost without economic barriers. It will also help achieve the Sustainable development Goal of Free and Quality Education.

As a part of outreach events, we would maintain a high influx of volunteers who have been fortunate to receive a college education or even have graduated. This will allow us to put our platform into use for higher educational opportunities by empowering people. People can learn more about funding opportunities, college education, degree information and make educated choices for their proposed area of study. Our volunteers would help them navigate a path to college education and identify strong prospects for employment and nation-building. This will help maintain a successful outflux of passionate individuals taking up college education.

Finally, with all the educational opportunities, student population from the primary years of learning would become self-sufficient and will help reduce the learning gap among population thereby increasing literacy rate which will in turn help get a decent standard of living among population.

Our team's roots are in the countryside. The two of us in our team belong to the state of Bihar with the least literacy rate and we have been visiting the state schools run by government and small scale schools where children go but lack proper quality teachers. We realized that children there are magic and that only poverty and several social barriers are stopping them from achieving a good education. Therefore, we ran a survey for our target population, assessed their needs and circumstances and therefore we came up with the solution.

We have ideated the solution and are in the phase of creating its prototype so that we can launch it and test the efficacy and target achieved based on bullet points set before us.
