Information, in our era has become the safe bet and the key to success. Thus between a person who succeeds and another who fails, the difference lies in the relevance of the information. Nowadays it is certainly easily accessible via the internet but difficult to find. More than 50% of young people in the ECOWAS region (190.4 million inhabitants) do not know how to use the Internet wisely to find useful and constructive information through targeted research. Today, digital technology is an area of exponential growth (more than 24.4% in sub-Saharan Africa) which is essential for everyone. This sector, more than transversal, has become essential in our daily lives. 75% of populations around the world are interconnected thanks to digital technology. Unfortunately in this quest for opportunities, many have been scammed by the "Fake offers" publications of cybercriminals. Thus several platforms like OpportunityDesk, OpportunitiesForAfricans… and many others have emerged to help young people by centralizing these opportunities on the same site. Although they have notoriety, these platforms have some imperfections that we want to "correct" via our platform while taking into account their different strengths.
Far from being a national problem, unfortunately, this situation has plagued almost the entire sub-region. This is why our company Jeunes Emergents has initiated the Koudjounini project which means "Chance" in the local language, and which aims to be a sub-regional platform (first) centralized on ECOWAS then deployed on the other opportunity referencing country.
We have 03 different types of target populations which are:
1-Non-paying users: Students, Universities…As their names suggest, they are users of our platform. They do not a priori have the capacity to pay big for the use. Even if we thought of making them pay directly, it is not obvious that they do so.
2-Paying users: CSOs, Activists, Entrepreneurs, employees and Freelancers. These are members or organizations of civil society and entrepreneurs who can pay for our support services to apply for a competition thanks to our partners. And also the employees and freelancers on whom we collect commissions for having been intermediaries.
3-Paying customers: Opportunity launchers,Development partners (GIZ, UNDP, OIF, etc.), foundations, impact funds, venture capital, major universities, companies, etc. from all over the world are launching more and more opportunities and want them to be known in order to have more people. We therefore offer three types of services according to our customers, namely:
1-SMS alerts: These are SMS alerts of opportunities to which users subscribe
2-Support / Mentoring: subscription ($10.38 USD) and support against a percentage (10-30%) in the case of a final selection.
3-Data: It is made available to whistleblowers for more targeted communication. Our sectoral database of students, academics, entrepreneurs, CSOs, activists…might interest them. Indeed, navigation on the Koudjounini platform is a priori conditioned by a registration (small form) grouping the identity, the nationality, the profession and the theme(s) of interest.

Verification and targeting of our digital opportunities by our robot equipped with developed artificial intelligence. This robot's role is to crisscross the Internet network to collect opportunities by theme and to make updates on our platform.
We also use technology via a USSD code to alert users on demand by SMS of notifications (newsletter) targeted according to the themes and sectors previously chosen by the user, follow-up support and mentoring (on demand) to apply for projects thanks to our network of Alumni partners from the various competitions and also the resource people we have.
And finally we also put a technological scoring system to note those who have been successful and have been selected for the various competitions on our platform (thanks to the follow-up we do) in order to be able to transform them into mentors for others and of course facilitate Koudjounini's visibility.
