109 years after its founding, the Voluntary Firefighters still uses paper to record the activities and tasks they carry out. This is a reflection of the technological backwardness present in said institution. They also face problems when incorporating pre-existing technologies such as google maps. This speaks to us of a lack of training in relation to technology. We can also think of problems that go further, such as the use of the siren, which in addition to being annoying for neighbors generates noise pollution impacting the environment. These situations could be resolved through training, development and implementation of technological tools. As we can imagine, this institution is of vital importance in the functioning of the city, however, being a non-profit organization, many times they do not have the necessary resources to access this type of tools, not to mention that many have not yet been developed. For these reasons, I consider it essential to provide a social impact solution for our Volunteer Firefighters. An application specially designed and thought for them is part of the solution, in this way they would be more efficient and could improve their performance. We can also think of a solution of national scope since it can be replicated in many parts of the country.
