Quantibly
Quantibly seamlessly ties every organizational unit in one simple platform. With your programs, services, funders, donors, reports, budgets, staff, and clients non-profits have enough to worry about.
Quantibly is a needed software that is specifically tailored for nonprofit organizations. Many third sector organizations have the intended purpose of contributing towards outcomes in sustainability both socially and environmentally. As a startup, my company is currently operational and offering organizational management software which can potentially assist in something all nonprofits engage in. That is donor relations and data management. The relationship a non-profit may have with donors is crucial to the success of its mission. Data should be the least of a nonprofit’s worries, so Quantibly provide a software solution designed as a cognitive map that seamlessly ties every organizational unit into one simple platform. This includes data on programs, funders, donors, services, reports, budgets, clients, staff and more. Given the current frustration social sector executives deal with regarding data management, Quantibly aims to ameliorate the technical capacities of the “the third sector” through a simple Software as a Service Model(SaaS). Quantibly is currently free to download and is constantly being updated by our small dedicated team of engineers.
To put it in simple terms, Quantibly is a scalable solution for the global social sector to collect, analyze, forecast, and report their data. This matters because lack of data results ultimately results in less transparency and less accountability. The following leads to inefficient usage of funds/donations and a lack of sustainable impact.
Over 5 billion people depend on services provided by the social sector. There are over 14.5 million non-profit organizations around the world, and 88% of them have a lack of data collection and impact measurement tools. This is primarily because up until now; the software sector has ignored the specific needs of the nonprofit sector. The clients we serve, such as the Lisbon project or Water Mission, for example, run costly operations. We help solve their problems primarily through our Finance and Monitoring, and evaluation features. They assist in functions ranging from performance tracking to donations. Clearly, we are attempting to take on the fact that the “Third sector” is underserved as pertains to impact measurement tools. We are playing an ancillary role in how non-profits will function in the future.
As we stated previously, the target population we serve is the “Third Sector.” However, Quantibly aims to assist the people the Third sector does as well. There are various inefficiencies among 501 c3s worldwide, making Quantibly a needed tool in the fight against injustice and lack of sustainability. To be specific, Quanitbly is very interested in sustainability and human capital outcomes.
Most of the nonprofit organizations we help do their best to facilitate the lives of the underprivileged and vulnerable while dealing with the costly realities of being a nonprofit organization. This is why some of our existing users include their Disability Rights Fund, The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia, Alzheimer’s South Africa, and more. All of these organizations have chosen us to indirectly meaningfully improve the lives of the people they serve, given that we make functions such as donor relations far more simplified. Quantibly fills the void left by the software industry, which largely neglected the” Third Sector.
Quantibly is constantly updating our software through various surveys we send to our clients. Based on the results of these surveys, we use the information provided to optimize the software and revenue generation model so that we have a meaningful and collaborative relationship with our clients. What makes Quantibly unique as a company is that we have live in-person demos available for our potential clients. One of the organizations I have had the pleasure of conducting a demo with is City Relief, a non-profit which serves the homeless in the New York City area. In this demo, we received crucial feedback on the design and development of our software solution.
- Other: Addressing an unmet social, environmental, or economic need not covered in the four dimensions above
Our software solution offers a multifaceted approach to solving various problems. Quantibly currently serves as supporting system to the third sector as whole which means that our solution is dedicated to improving opportunities in learning and economic prosperity as well as tackling sustainability and health outcomes. The unmet need that our that non profit organizations demand is a easier disseminating and managing their services which ultimately benefits people lives.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in at least one community, which is poised for further growth
Given what Quantibly has accomplished to date, I felt it was appropriate to label my company as in the growth stage. Quantibly launched in 2020 and is currently operational in 24 different countries. We have just over 400 organizations as clients at the moment. We are poised for future growth, given that we have a current growth rate of 10.3%. However, at the moment, due to the cost of software production, we are a revenue-neutral entity with plenty of potential.
- A new technology
We've built the platform in Django, VueJS, and other common tools so that our developer ecosystem can further build on our solution.
What is the technology behind your product/service?
Quantibly has been developed on architecture to accommodate the following principles:
Must be scalable in low/middle-income countries with relatively informal infrastructure
Must be accessible in high/low-bandwidth areas around the world
Must be designed for low-technical skilled users
Must have an intuitive design that works like a "cognitive map"
Must be available in multiple languages, even when English is the official "business language" of the country
Must have the ability to integrate other productivity solutions without disrupting an organization's current work-flow
Must be device and operating system independent
Must incorporate commonly accepted "best practices" that trains the user/organization
Must always protect the privacy of individuals, and security of data
and lastly, the system must be affordable for the end-user organization so that we are an "Essential Utility", and not a "nice to have" product
- Big Data
- Software and Mobile Applications
- United States
Currently Quantibly is working with 400+ organizations and has approximately 4000 monthly users. If all goes well we plan double that number in 2022. So we aim for 8000 monthly users. All of this is in the context of Organizations that offer meaningful impact to various individual around the world.
Our impact goals for the next year are apparent. We aim to have a transformational impact on people's lives through our methodical process of providing software solutions for non-profit organizations that aim to improve outcomes in sustainability both socially and environmentally. Our ultimate goal is to be utilized 5% of all non-profits within the next four years. We as a company would love to help in conservation efforts and research for non-communicable diseases, given that those are the types of organizations we tend to prefer to work with. We plan to achieve this through our seed round funding, which will be the impetus for bolstered marketing and business development capabilities.
We at Quantibly believe our business model aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Although measurable indicators fuel our solutions, we aim to do things specifically. The first is to decrease the operating costs of a nonprofit organization. The second is to maximize the number of donations given through transparency of data management. This will ultimately aid organizations in actualizing the first four Sustainable Development goals such as no poverty, Zero Hunger, good health, quality of education, and gender equality.
There are a few barriers which may limit our impact for the next year. Most of these barriers are financial. As a company we aim to extend beyond the seed round of funding which is valued at around 1.5 million dollars. In addition there are legal challenges with attaining the patents for a unique product given the exorbitant cost of the patents. Another challenge is business development and marketing. Quantibly must use referral marketing in order to make our product more well known to social sector executives. In order to do this we must expand our capabilities and our team.
Quantibly is a collaborative project by experts from various fields. We have over 40 years of combined experience in the "Third Sector." We have an excellent technical team of systems architects based out of. We have an amazing business development team that is currently poised to deliver the promises of the technical team. In addition, our start-up comprises mainly minorities who understand the challenges associated with the nonprofits we help. We as an organization are fueled by the desire to ameliorate the functions of the nonprofit, which serve in many of the countries we originate from, such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bangladesh, Mexico, and more.
Currently we have over 400 organizations that we are assisting with in a monitoring an evaluation capacity. Here is a few
