The Best Education in the World

Change the Education System: Stop manufacturing machines that memorize, educate reasonable human beings with emotional intelligence and have the correct phychopedagogues to teach.  

1. What is it? My solution is to renew the educational system around the world; Having broad criteria and an open mind, that teachers have a vocation to teach in order to project knowledge and encourage students to want to learn and enjoy the process.

2. What does it do? It is the theory that we must apply  in daily school life to improve school capacity and performance, avoid school dropouts, lower the suicide rate (since usually students who do not do very well in school commit suicide, in some cases, not always), avoid unnecessary anxiety and stress. Young people should enjoy and live their life, and should not see learning as a bad thing, learning is something amazing but school has made it look like that.

3.What processes and technology does it use? My solution uses the Internet, such as games (interactive and learning), websites, social media, videos, applications, television, documentaries, digital books, audio books, etc. Thanks to the internet and most of what is on it, we have thousands of options for fun and entertaining learning.

Is to improve education around the world since it is currently useless, our system has not changed in at least 100 years, they are not preparing us for the present; Education in which the teacher is the highest authority, who imposes his ideas, must be eliminated, there must be a respectful education in which there is a collaboration of teacher and student, an education without punishment and opting for consequences, but,  how to change the education? Using a system like the one used by Finland, with  shorter  days,   teachers are valued  professionals,  education  is  free  and  accesible,  there  is  a  equitable  distribution,  students  have  time  for  everything,  play  has  a place  in   education, competition  is  avoided,  breaks-organization-personalized  education  exist,  exams until  11  years  old,  the  teachers  evaluate  in  a  descriptive  way  and not  with  numbers,  rewards  curiosity  and  participation,  parents  get  involved.  

The people affected are all the world's students, which is equivalent to 23 percent of the population. Although students are only 20%, we are the future of the world yes or yes.

Contributing factors: An antiquated society and closed minds. 

Consequences: Mediocrity and ignorance.

1. All teachers and students in the world will benefit from this "new" system. The teachers are heroes, who have been blamed, and put as the bad guys, but they, like the students, are victims of our current educational system, they work in a system without options...
2. My solution will impact from the root as the foundation of any existing profession is basic education (such as kindergarten-elementary school-middle school).And it will have a positive impact on our society.
3. Who are they? All the students, victims of this system, which oppresses them and gives them no choice, which makes them memorize, students are exhausted from being exploited, from not being listened to, from being underestimated, from being treated like machines without interruptions, from being standardized.
4. The solution will address your needs in all educational and emotional ways; As a consequence, students will learn better because new and better teaching techniques will be used, they will not be stressed by their grades because they will know that a standardized test does not define them as a person and much less their future, students will enjoy the process of learning and they will seek to improve. 

1. What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve? My first step was my own experience, it is something that I live day by day and like me, I know that there are many people out there who think alike.-The second step was to analyze the facts, investigate, watch videos, ask my classmates how they felt about it.- The third step was to do an essay gathering all the information, arguing my point of view.- The fourth step is this, expose the situation, to be heard and make a change.
2. Have you done research with potential users? Yes, with my own classmates.
3. Have you volunteered or worked with an existing organization working on this problem? No, because for now my solution is in the concept stage.
4. Have you engaged potential users in the design and development of your solution? Not for the moment. 

I chose the "Concept" stage because I have not worked with a company or organization, and for now it is just a "theory" that I would love to apply in real life.

At the moment I have not achieved a huge change, but I have discussed my point of view with teachers, classmates, family and friends, most of whom sympathize with my proposal. I have only made my point of view known and several people seem to open their minds and let this idea in.

The technology that my solution uses in education is nothing more and nothing less than the Internet. We must use technology to our advantage, there are thousands of interactive and educational games that we can use to learn and improve, there are a large number of websites, videos, applications, social networks that are wasted by using outdated methods. For example, there is a game called "Atomas" (That a colleague recommended me to play to learn the elements of the periodic table, the game is on a scientific theme, and consists of combining elements, in my experience it did help me: And like that game There must be thousands of other games that can help students have fun while learning, thus obtaining better results.

At the present time I have not been able to serve people with my solution, but taking into account that I base my solution on ideas in the Finnish educational system, it could be said that in Finland it is already being applied.

I have not yet launched my solution but mainly I plan to help in my school campus giving new ideas of how to have a better education, consequently if I have the support I plan to support the schools of my school community and so little by little.

As I said before, I have not yet launched my solution, therefore the number of people I have supported is zero, but I plan to help 20% of the population that have been students in the world.

My solution will directly affect your education, the way in which other strategies will be taken when educating and this old-fashioned ways will be left behind.

What do I mean by old-fashioned ways? Teach children to memorize, rather than analyze, understand and process. Leave useless tasks that will not strengthen your knowledge. That the teachers have absolute control and do not let the students think, give their opinions or be proactive.

1. My impact objectives are to renew the educational system, so that the dropout rates decrease, the students are hungry to learn and enjoy the process, apply more practice and less theory, have entertaining and interesting classes (Instead of just reading and solving a booklet of questions), play learning, have a better education where nobody worries about silly grades and the only thing on their mind is understanding, thinking, analyzing, comprehending, processing and learning.
2. And how will I reach them? Inform all my classmates and teachers (Because it is the place where I study high school), making presentations or explaining my proposal, talk to the principal about this and that we reach an agreement (Initially). Publish my essay, my reflection, my criticism about the current educational system and its deficiencies in google so that it reaches more people to analyze it. I will make myself heard, surely the people who are interested will tell others and the idea will spread. 

The barriers that exist for me to achieve my goal are financial because I do not have the money to start financing the project and barrier in the cultural field because it is difficult to convince my country (Mainly), perhaps some "old" teachers do not adapt easily to the new way of teaching but they should do it little by little. 

I (the only member of the team) consider that I am well positioned to begin to solve this problem (In my school), I am a student who complies with his tasks and projects, who has good grades. My skills are (In my opinion): Proactivity, adaptability, leadership skills, creativity, I know how to work under pressure, good decision making and assertive communication.

I don't have any projects outside of my school campus, but thanks to those little tasks, they pushed me to develop the solution.

What led me to provide this solution? That I am a victim of the system, as many of you were. When I was 7-8 years old and in elementary school they "taught" me the multiplication tables, but the teacher said that we should MEMORIZE, but I told her that if you memorize something you might forget it, but if you learn it it stays forever in your memory, but the teacher humiliated me in front of my classmates scolding me that there was only one way to do things. Currently in middle school, some teachers believe that they have the power and control of everything, and do not take suggestions (Like  make teams and play solving equations or mathematical exercises), they cling to the old-fashioned and boring. They don't let learning be fun. I developed nervous gastritis and anxiety thanks to pressure from teachers for exams (At such a young age, starting primary school).

I am living what thousands of students are experiencing, a crime in education, I know what they feel and they know what I feel.

I'm not currently working with anyone, it's just me.
I have not had the support of any institution or organization

• I am a girl, and I am getting involved in a project for educational improvement that mainly helps girls (Because in many states of my country girls are prohibited from going to school, due to backward customs and ideas associated with machismo and misogyny) and of course also children who are students. And supporting education is improving the world. In what sense? Education is the basis of all professions and all jobs, today's world needs innovation and professional creativity.

 Because socially, education is an important source for the growth of a nation. A world that studies is a world that grows; an informed world is a world with power. Education moves the world and that is why it is one of the main and strongest projects, since without education it would not be possible to think about sustainability, economy because they would not have the bases.
