Educ8 Experience
We aim to democratize learning! No Learners Left Behind!
Currently in the Philippines, Educational Technology is still in its infancy stage. It is not quite developed yet and many educators are still not familiar with how to effectively utilize it. The Philippines consists of many islands, some are hard to reach and internet isn't always available or slow. With so many solutions out there, learners and educators are left to look for their own solution that fits for them. Some works, but many are left to be desired. So Educ8 Experience will elevate the Learning Experience (LX) of all learners and educators, providing them with the right solutions, whether it be internet problems or their technology problems. These includes a Learning management system, mobile application, video conferencing tool, open access library, and the proper support and training. We aim to be a one stop place for distance learning. Providing a holistic solution to learners and educators. With the Philippines as a starting point, we aim to democratize learning to all of Southeast Asia. Bridging the gap between all learners and educators.
- Support educators, school leaders, and other system stakeholders including through adaptive learning management systems, personalized instruction, and access to professional development and training opportunities

The problem we are trying to solve is the lack of access to reliable Educational Technology solutions in the Philippines that's affordable. The root cause of the problem is actually connected to money, other roots concerns learning experience. A lot of schools here in the Philippines closed down due to the pandemic, their main reason is that there are no enrollees. So they have no income and thus closed down leaving teachers with no jobs. Most students transferred to public schools, but with one year of modular learning (printed) we see the problems that arise with it. Mental health, learning experience, and integrity in education is greatly affected as observed with students.
According to the Department of education, there are over 26 Million students and over 800 thousand teachers (Click here for a more detailed info). We will start on those places that are being neglected, specially for those with bad internet connection. From there we could scale to those who are in far-flung areas that has no internet, next is the whole Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries who are experiencing the same problems.

The learners and educators in the Philippines. Many educators here in the Philippines, at the cost of their own expense, try their hardest to deliver their lessons. The financial burden on both the teacher and student deprived them of access to quality learning. Buying internet credits, proper device and electricity bills are piling up on them. There's a clear gap for them compared for those who can afford all those things. Every learner and educator should be able to have access to quality education. Currently we have a couple of schools already in our care and we take feedback from them and we adjust accordingly. We approach it step by step with them in our mind, for example they said that they needed a video conferencing tool so we provided it for them that consumes low bandwidth. Not all have a pc/laptop, and so we're developing a mobile app that can be used offline even if you're phone is old. We engage with them and through feedback we improve our solution to better fit them with their financial, internet, and tech problems in mind.
Educational Technology is not a new concept, in other well developed countries there are already many solutions out there. Aldrin, a person currently working in Australia has experience with working on an Learning Management System. So we bring the solution to the Philippines while fitting it to their needs. Technology presents a way for learners and educators to have access to quality education while not breaking the bank. Giving them an accessible, cheap and reliable solution is what we aim for.
- Growth: An initiative, venture, or organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several contexts or communities, which is poised for further growth

Born and raised in the Philippines. He is currently based in Australia as a full-stack developer.
- A new application of an existing technology
Many solutions are already available in the market. We aim to be a one-stop place for their online needs, giving a holistic solution to online learning. For example they need to avail multiple subscription to conduct their lessons. They need to pay for the Learning Management System, Video conferencing, and training and support would cost them too. So having all of those in one package would help them.

The number of users, content creators, and institutions that are working with us. It's really hard for people to trust a solution and thus having a number of schools under us is a big deal.
Goals for the next year is as follows
- Increase our population (Users)
- Develop a community of educators
- Get more academic institutions to avail our solutions
- Further develop our solution
It starts with the community in mind. It's not enough that we think of a solution for them, they play a big part on how the solution will be made. We already made some relationships to Edtech professionals from the top university here in the Philippines.
Goals for the next three years
- Develop meaningful contents for Learners and educators
- Provide our community with upscaling activities such as webinars and workshops
- Provide educators opportunity to earn through our solutions
With the community beside us, we plan to upscale the teachers and provide them with meaningful learnings so that they can provide quality education through Edtech.
Goals for the next five years
- Democratize learning
- Specialized LMS for those with special needs
- Offer our solutions to other SEA nations.
Once the solution is nailed here in the Philippines. The plan to scale to other countries will be easier.
