Self Directed Teaching Innovation Online (Se.Di.T.I.On)
This solution will allow anyone who is motivated enough to learn and advanced their education despite their situational shortcomings.
The Se.Di.T.I.On aims to solve unequal access and opportunities to proper education. This program proposes that accredited lesson plans and lectures by international regulating/ accrediting bodies of education shall be made as a guideline and allow different educators (Educational institutions, educators & teachers, professors, students and other people) who are willing to create lectures or lessons in video/ presentation that can be reviewed and stored in an online video sharing platform (e.g youtube, facebook, edX, TedX) that shall allow anyone the ability to learn lessons in a systematic way for free and in their own time with the simple help of an electronic device and the internet. This system shall also allow those people to participate in a paid accreditation exam (with minimal fee) to earn their course credits similar to how masters and phd credits assisting them in paths they could study and take in order to achieve what they wanted to be, its like a school with credits but you're not time constrained, and you don't need to spend a lot of money to learn and just pay for the exams that you want to credit for. This solution shall allow, more people of any age, to get knowledge they could get without the need to pay for a school, hopefully even a university where all that matters is their desire to learn and if they have learned the material properly in order to pass the accreditation exams.
- Increase equitable access to quality learning opportunities through open sourced, offline, or virtual models, especially for underserved learners in low connectivity environments

I'm working to solve the unavailability of education for everyone, giving the privilege only to those who can afford to pay and dedicate a huge amount of time to education. As developing countries, I'll use the Philippine's statistics to make it easier. Since 2014 there has been a significant increase in out of school adolescents from 400k, to almost 900k in 2019 as reported by Unesco. This is caused by inability of people, dedicate money and time to get education due to the difficulty faced in trying to survive in a developing country. With this program, we're allowing people a chance to get education anywhere and anytime they wanted to without the pressures of the conventional schooling, after all this has been going since the "youtube revolution" in which even students in school are looking for help to understand their lectures. While this solution may change the educational system paradigm, I believe that this will be a great opportunity for people and complement the conventional educational system as institutions themselves can submit their own lessons and courses, and benefit from this platform as well.
The target population are the people living under poverty up to the lower middle class. I'll use myself as an example, I have completed my education as a Mechanical engineer, despite that I still struggle with problems like money and time. I've turned to mentors, borrowed books and the internet in order to expand my horizons learning the other fields of sciences and arts through books, youtube videos, and free opportunities like EdX and harvard online because I cannot afford to survive on my salary nor have the resources to get another degree due to situations. This program shall allow people like myself, and those with the same situation a choice to earn education credits on our own time, maybe even get a diploma and a degree by getting accreditation course by course when we get the opportunity, unlocking more doors for those who are able to access these program. Imagine every person in the world being told that they'll be able to get international standard quality education in their own time, with people who we're not able to study due to their need to support their family when they we're young and given a chance at their senior years to finish their education. Orphans in an orphanage, given the opportunity to learn, teachers allowed to develop their own teaching styles and methods for different types of students, young breadwinners working to provide their family food to eat given the opportunity to study and learn when they can.
Education has always been a challenge through history, this solution can provide alternative means of providing the target population this opportunity with minimal fees, virtually providing anyone in the world the ability to learn and be educated also standardizing the knowledge that everyone can obtain. As an educational, institution MIT has given education to those who can reach its halls, this time, with this solution, this standard can have a global reach. In my opinion I've always thought, that those who we're able to pass these exams on our top universities in our country like thee University of The Philippines are those who had the opportunities to learn more. I thought when I took the exams on these top universities, the questions I weren't able to answer we're because I was not given the opportunity to learn it. So this program, would hopefully, allow everyone and anyone to be able to have the opportunity to learn everything they can and want to learn.

- A new application of an existing technology
Well, there is EdX, Alisons, Skillshare and other programs similar to it, but none of them does provide a complete education tree similar to universities. Also programs in schools, are generalized, non-dedicated in which people are taught in a generalized one size fits all approach manner which may affect the performance of an individual and can alter their mindset towards education. In my experience in my university, I've encountered people that have excellent compliance to the educational system and breeze through it and people that really wanted to learn about the world yet have a hard time complying to requirements of the educational system. I, myself prefer to learn how and why things work and explore the boundaries of said phenomenon and try how it can be used in other ways. This program aims to cater to all these different personalities and desires, providing variety with one goal, to educate and provide all people the opportunity to be educated.
It will overhaul the current conventional systems though, but I'm sure universities like MIT can cope up with these changes and provide more innovative solutions to thrive together with this new program.
I wanted to, but as of now, not yet due to the lack of resources. Though I have discussed it to my former teachers, their issues still drop to their need to get paid due to the difficulty of life in our country. Though, they did agree that the idea will be great if executed, and they fear that if it happens teachers would be obsolete but I think otherwise since teachers can only get better with their teaching methods due to the performance evaluation on the accreditation exams and the request for one on one tutorials/ assitance.
Cloud Storage, internet and Video Recording, as well as new testing, teaching and accreditation models. It does rely on technologies as it needs to be stored online to be able to be accessed by anyone anytime they need. The good thing is that all the technology is available and accessible, and it can be done with old technologies such as physical storage like CDs, even VHS.
The business model is to provide a platform in which anyone can be able to choose a course and learn it through video recordings and clips, by the time they finish the course they could take an accreditation exam to earn the credits, checked by educational institutions and teachers in which they evaluate the student who took the course. Credits can then be accumulated to earn degrees, that the student can breeze through or take their time to finish giving everyone the opportunity to be educated.
an exam in order to be registered as an professional, this made me
question why its necessary to limit people from practicing other trade
and limiting them from trying out different stuff when opportunities are
not equal.
While I successfully passed two board exams,
Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing Engineering, I have also learned
Electrical, Civil, Architectural and other science from picking the
ideas from my mentors in which they taught me everything I need to know,
but law here still limits people from trying things out.
This
gave me the sense of exclusivity, in which people are restricted from
exploration, trying out stuff and doing stuff they want to try and
learn, which is against my mentality as a curious person.
That
made me think about this idea, the idea of inclusiveness, allowing
everyone the means and opportunity to learn everything they can. Like
how old masters were, Leonardo The Vinci who was a Painter, Scientist
and Engineer.
In the end, I may just wish that like what we
believe in, people can be anything they want to be as long as they
dedicate their life in making it happen, and with the limitations and
walls that we have in life, I wanted to make it easier for everyone to
at least get education.

Number of people passing the courses, number of educational institutions and teachers joining the program, decrease in population of out of school adolescents
There is a Japanese System called KAIZEN or continuous improvement in which while curriculum can change, the uploaded lessons and courses can be improved after the assessment of each course taken, this will allow a dynamic flow of development and improvement that shall be taken by our educators and teachers in order to make their programs more efficient.
This program will be reliant on growth of user base just like social media, but this program aims to connect countries together due to objective subjects like (Maths & Science) and yes still continue to have their individuality (Social Studies/ Culture Studies)

I'm a person who believes that nothing can stop an innovative mind with money and time.
Finance will be the biggest thing that I am facing, and there is no shortage in talented teachers all around the globe, the program shall speak for itself when the push comes to shove, since I had this idea and my goal is to make it happen with Quality Innovations by Design in mind.
My university has the Outcomes based approach, but I think too many things can affect the outcome of an event. I think failure will always be an option, but I believe in proper systems in which it will allow you to try and try again until you get things right. By designing the systems with the one objective, which is to educate, as long as there is enough money to make it happen, I think and hope that that will be enough to break the rest of these barriers.
I started a company, with the Goal to earn money to allow me to create things that would make the world a better place. I've read books, journals, articles asked wise men, to learn about more things only to be limited by opportunities and bureaucracy. That's why I named this solution SEDITION, because I wanted to break these barriers that stop me or everyone from learning, trying, discovering things thru education.

I am actually the only one working on this idea, those I invited are too busy trying to keep themselves surviving like myself.
I'm a multi skilled engineer who's not afraid to try to make things happen and figure stuff out along the way, I know when to ask for help but is having trouble where to find it.
Before joining this challenge, I've tried proposing this solutions as well as other solutions to solve major problems faced by developing countries but end up losing because of profitability.
My ideas are humanitarian rather than profitable, with opportunity to earn.
I am open for suggestion, but I do hate when everything turns around to all about getting profits.
I'm also dedicated enough that I send e-mails of my ideas to the world's richest men but didn't get replies from everyone but Amazon.
That should show, how much I wanted to make things happen.
Conceptualization is easy for me, as I never run out of ideas when I see problems, implementation though has been proven difficult as ideas are hard to materialize without resources.
Though I have successfully created working concepts with prototype when given the opportunities, created systems with working proof of concepts, and developed systems and approaches applied in my work of industry.
None for now.
