A Million Journey
India is a farmer's country; more than 60% population is engaged in agriculture. The most underrated and discussed chapter is the contribution of Agri-laborers in the whole Agri value chain. Their role in the sector is unmatched, but at the same time, traditional knowledge sharing with upgraded practices is the need. That will support conserve and healthy natural resources and normalizing the gender gap in wages to improve livelihood.
We are on a mission to empower one million farm laborers by improving their practices in their own skillset eg. crop-specific labor groups, Agri produces harvesting, post-harvesting laborers team.
Partnership, Digital Tools and Smart Hubs are the key factors in our journey to achieve our goal. We start this with a part of India, and we believe the " collaborate, upskill, and certify" model will penetrate different geographic areas.
- Increase and leverage the participation of underserved communities in India and Indonesia — especially women, low-income, and remote groups — in the creation, development, and deployment of new technologies, jobs, and industries
- My solution is being deployed or has plans to deploy in India
The pandemic has a worse effect on farm laborers, those people are most vulnerable and exposed to this pandemic migration. We try to upskills the farm laborers to improve their livelihood with better wages.
This is a global problem, but at initial, we are starting with our local region. We are innovating our smart hybrid digital-farmfield model; in which we not only make farm expert laborers but at the same time we focus on year-round job search & availability for them.
Our solution will impact Farm laborers and indigenous farmers, family farmers.
Upskill & deploy is the gimmick that would work to improve wages, minimize the gender gap in the wage distribution, and maximize work availability for the hands.
Improved wages will solve many other related problems like the accessibility of nutritious food, child labor, education, women's respect & empowerment.
In the end, Satisfied happy family life.
In the last couple of years, India has had tremendous development in the telecommunication sector. Smartphones are almost in every Indian hand. We are taking this advantage to reach the last man in the targeted population and improve their cropping activities.
On the other hand, farmers are also in search of skilled laborers and it is difficult to tackle labor shortage. Our platform will take care of not only upskilling laborers but verified their listing for farmers to get easy access.
