SheSABI App
Many low-income young girls and women lack skills to help
them generate livelihood income, unfortunately, many of these women are
bread winners of their family. They merely survive via hawking,
scavenging and daily jobs that pay them peanuts. Even few who has means
of livelihood lack proper Business/Digital/Financial skills to manage
their businesses. Also due to Covid-19, the number has increased.
She SABI Learning APP aims to train and empower low-income young girls and women who do not have any source of livelihood on vocational, business, digital, financial literacy skills etc in English, Pidgin and their local dialect. She SABI will help them learn, start, sustain and succeed in their businesses.
SheSABI can be scaled by localizing the content for different countries, that is creating content in local languages.

As an organization we have worked in different communties engaging these girls and women by empowering them with vocational skills offline, due to our conversation and relationship with them and also due to different calls for empowerment from women in some parts of Nigeria and other African countries we were able to design SheSABI.
With SheSABI App we are removing the barriers that most young girls and women from marginalized communities face when they want to learn a skill, these barriers include high cost of learning from informal/formal vocational training schools, burden of transportation, graduation expenses after learning, unpaid labor by their madam’s or oga’s who use them as house-help when they go learn under them, lack of start-up equipment after learning etc
- Prepare those entering, re-entering, or who are already in the workforce for the future of work with affordable and equitable digital skills, training, and employment opportunities

Low-income women from under-served communities most times cannot participate and contribute to their local and national economy because they lack certain skills and opportunities. They few who seek to learn income generating skills, do this via informal learning centers who take advantage of them.
SheSABI App was designed by present offline beneficiaries, prospective users and our team, this make our solution unique. Also SheSABI is created specifically for young girls and women, we have plans for signs languages (Inclusion) and localized content in native languages that women in rural communities can understand.
SheSABI Mobile Application was built in React Native with the corresponding back-end app built with Scala Programming Language.
Our solution is a mobile platform, that is an App.
