She shares
- Pre-Seed
“She shares” is a, cloud-based, shared purchasing Platform, that allows rural artisans women to group their purchases in order to have better prices, less shipping costs and an increasing profit margin.
Rural women artisans are missing a lot of opportunities because of the difficult access they have for procurement channels through which they can be buy all the raw materials they need for their production. This is due to the fact that she lives far away from the traditional supply zones. To be able to get what she needs, a rural woman can only afford to buy in small quantities and at high prices (an average of 15% more) in addition to what she spends in transportation.
By grouping the procurement needs we can increase purchasing quantities and make pressure on suppliers to decrease the prices. The more requests there are, the more attractive become the suppliers’ offers in terms of cost and delivery deadlines. This will enable the rural women artisans to increase their profit margin, develop their businesses and positively impact the entire ecosystem.
"She shares" platform is intended to enable each and every woman involved to increase her margins by buying more for less costs. With enough revenue, rural women can grow their businesses, create more jobs in their living areas and increase its their chances of generating a dignified income for them and their families
We are working closely with associations, active in rural areas and in women rights for dignified income, to build bridges between active rural women and make them get the most from our platform.
