César Rangel is a professional committed to the integration and training of new generations. This experience allowed him to develop one of his greatest strengths: the ability to Systematize the instruction and practice of music, through orchestras, and choral groups, as an instrument for social integration, organization, and human development. He was president and manager in the state of Aragua, of the most important social project “EL SISTEMA” of youth and children’s orchestras and choirs in Venezuela, supporting the growth of more than forty thousand children and their families through the project.
In 2016, he founded the “Youth Enlightenment System (YES)” MOVEMENT program was developed to present and demonstrate the importance and social impact of “El Sistema and its related initiatives involving the integral development of youth in the Miami-Dade area. Since its founding, more than 400 actual participants have benefited from the project just in one sector of the Miami Dade area, with special emphasis to include children with special needs
He works hard to achieve the social gaps that are closed preventing social exclusion; healing intolerance and unacceptance by providing an all-inclusive, all-participating environment obtaining a healthy social reformation and integration.
We integrate all the artistic, academic, and human work of regular children into the special needs Education Program
It is aimed at serving and contributing to the development of the potential of children and youth, with special needs. Including hearing, visual or cognitive deficits; motor impairment, learning disability, autism, Down's Syndrome, among other conditions, who are introduced to tools for incorporation into collective artistic activities, forming ensembles, colored and tubular bells, recorder, strings, various instruments, and choral.
At YES, we work to protect all children from violence, abuse, and discrimination. We have access to a vulnerable community where we can see many children without supervision, through the years we are attending more de 400 hundred families
- We take care of Achieve universal primary education
- Promote gender equality
- Reduce infant mortality
- Maintain the rights of all children.
These objectives are conforming to the goals established in "A suitable world for children”.
YES, the project is a training space with a high preventive value in the dynamics of social change that, according to risk, degrade adequate growth in young people and children and we use music education and the collective practice of music as a strategy for integration and inclusion
Music Art cannot be evaluated based on score, since each child develops skills in different ways, depending on their environment, that is why we practice the impartation of value, affirmation, encouragement, and recognition in the child, not for what he achieves or It does, if not, because of what the child is and can do, we use symphonic structures as schools of social transformation and of course, we promote artistic excellence, developing in children the aesthetic sense of life. This is why YES it is "The art of living" and all this through music.
Through education, We are taking care of the future from its beginning, and then we will see new leaders, citizens of the world, new audiences for art, preservation of the ethical and aesthetic senses, implementation of high human values according to our contemporary life.
We have created several symphonic orchestras and choirs with children who have been invited by the White House, in Washington DC
Our educational format is based on systematic thinking, and from childhood we develop children as multipliers of the training they receive, thus being able to guarantee the future leadership needed, for the expansion of the project, integration with different projects and organizations to enhance the different spheres of attention.
Presence in the community through impact events, integration to the el Sistema USA platform, steps to strengthen technology, and online education as an element of massification.
