Because if I win the Elevate Prize, the funding will be used to:
1. Accelerate the development and integration of an online training institute to our already existing intranet/extranet.
2. Development of online English courses with interactive videos on Regenerative Agriculture, Buildings, Urban Mobility, Circular Economy and translate all of them in Spanish & French.
3. Engaging experts to work on the development of good practices taking into account the reality of each country where we implement our activities
4. Developing a crowdfunding or donations page for our startups to be able to showcase their projects and attract funding/seed money to their projects
5. Launch the 4th stage of our Entrepreneurship program: the ClimAccelerator
6. Having some money to use as own funding when presenting a project proposal that needs co-funding.
Argentinian & French. Born in Buenos Aires & lived in 5 countries (Argentina, USA, France, Spain & Switzerland). Degrees in IT, BA & Master’s in International Economics and Stakeholder Engagement - Organization Management for International Development. Languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese & German. studied Arabic and Russian. Worked for the private sector, @UN for 15 years, and ISO standards.
I think I've been very fortunate throughout my career (UN & ISO) to be a witness to history, traveling around the world & participating in very important things that happen that really had an impact on the economy, the society, & the environment.
That's when I realized that part of my responsibility in life is to empower & engage the Latino community to commit to the transition to a circular economy and achieve a positive and sustainable impact every day. It's very frustrating to see that we go on pretending day-by-day that someone, somewhere soon will make a change.
Circular Influence’s vision is Global Sustainable Positive Impact. We need to work together and act as one united force that will act for the benefit of our planet. We need to accelerate the global transition to a circular economy (net-zero emissions).
What: The current fragmentation of circular economy priorities and initiatives is hindering the impact we could achieve. By tackling the challenge in a collaborative and systemic way, we will increase the sustainability of the transition, all the while valorizing existing knowledge and resources.
How: We are committed to bringing local, national, regional & international stakeholders together to jointly tackle the circular economy transition needed to reach net-zero emissions and meet the targets set in the Paris Agreement
Circular Influence: a knowledge and innovation community platform that works to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. We bring together partners at local, national, regional & international level from the private sector, the academic field, public administrations, program owners, researchers, non-profit sectors, the civil society to:
· support collaboration, share best practices, co-create & co-design joint programs & initiatives built with a systemic and cross-cutting approach, across five key challenge areas: energy, mobility, land & food, manufacturing & raw materials for circular economy research
· develop innovative products, services & systems to bring them to the market and scale their impact on society.
· support innovation for climate action activities, training & education programs, business incubators
· synergies LA & other countries

Circular economy is often not directly addressed or defined in programmes – with many focusing on specific sectors, which doesn’t consider the interdisciplinarity of circular economy. Funding often occurs on a very technical level, looking into specific aspects of the value chain rather than with a systemic and holistic approach. The lack of generic circular economy indicators makes it hard to evaluate the impact of programmes, projects having their specific bottom-up indicators.
BUILDING A MOVEMENT. We are using the principles of movement building, social innovation and community activation. Our approach is experimental, non-violent, experiential and about creating hope (not fear).
STAYING CONNECTED. We understand that connectedness is key to the success of any community, and over the past year we have been exploring different ways to create new and unexpected connections within and across our community, as well as how we can empower them to self-organise and self-match-make.
INCLUSION We believe that transformative innovation requires genuine diversity and multiple actors from across the system to imagine, think and create together.
It is an influential community platform to spread awareness and mobilize masses around some of the most pressing issues of our time, inspiring economic, social and environmental action.
It is a platform to educate, inform and inspire people around the globe through the power of sustainable and positive impact, reflecting on our beliefs, creative minds, and innovative technologies
