Innocent Children-Uganda

Psycho-socio and Economic support project for Orphans and other Vulnerable children is a project intended to extend Educational Support and Talent Development to OVC aged 2-15 years and Youths aged 16-24 Years for Vocational skills and Talent Building for self Reliance. It’s also aimed at Alleviating Poverty at House hold levels where the Identified orphans live.

The project office is located in Eastern Uganda in Tororo District, Tororo County Near Mukuju Subcounty Headquarters, five miles from Tororo town Towards Mbale City. The project operates in the Seven Sub counties of Mukuju, Molo, Merikit, Paya, Osukuru, Rubongi, Paya and  Sopsop and shall be later on scaled to all Sub Counties in Tororo District.

My name IS OKWARE JOHN PIUS. I am A Ugandan by Nationality aged 49 Years and a Teacher by Profession. I have taught for over ten yeas in and around my community. I attended a lot of Capacity Building on Orphans and other Vulnerable Children and Youth Empowerment. I understand the Plight of Children and Am trying to address some causes, that's why we formed the Community Based Organization.

The Organization was formed by the Community Members and Registered with Tororo Local Government, under the Non Governmental Organization  Registration Statute 1999 0n 22, December 2011 under Certificate number YT 40536 under the Directorate of Gender and Community Based Services.

Organization and Management.

The Capacity Building on organizational Management and interaction with the local community makes me innovative to problem solving as there are soo many needy children in that community.

Its directly changing Lives of people in the community especially needy Children and Youth by providing customized and tailor made services to the beneficiaries in the community.
