Digital Platform EduCarreira
Our mission is to integrate the student from the High School to the Professional Market
Currently in Brazil alone, there are 9.6 million young people aged 15 to 17 who, by 2020, will be actively in the labor market, either through a program of apprenticeship, internship or formal employment. However, 70% of these young people do not know or have any doubt about which career to pursue. This results in several pains, not only for them, but also for the professional market as a whole. In the academic field, in 2016, of 8 million university admissions, 3.4 million of them left their courses, being one of the reasons low identification with the career or by wrong choice, mainly in the initial phase, between the first and second year of studies . This creates a waste of time and financial resources for these students who are even at risk of starting their professional career in a career they do not like. This reflects directly on the quality of the professional and the work developed, generating low identification with the companies, low productivity and quality, which has scared many human resources managers of the companies. Our challenge is to integrate this young person through a hybrid digital platform to the professional market, working on the pillars: self-knowledge, social-emotional skills, research, planning, financial management, entrepreneurship and action plan with videos, teaching materials, support from a network of professionals of different areas, as well as coaches and psychologists, integration with Higher Education Institutions and companies (small, medium and large). We believe that EduCarreira will transform the future of millions of young people. Our goal is to first impact our country, to go to Latin America, Central, North, Europe, Asia and Africa building knowledge, relationship and approach of high school students to the next professional future that awaits them. We believe our edtech has high potential to transform the world!
- Educators fostering 21st century skills
- Teacher and educator training
The integration of the high school student with the professional market in a practical, experiential way, making it possible to be digital or face-to-face. It is not 100% technological because contact and relationship are important for professional development.
Through technology we will be able to impact a high volume of students, climbing with the same quality as if applied to a single student. In the platform we will offer training videos for teachers and students, online tests, connection with a great network of professionals and social network among students. It is fundamental so that with a lean team we can develop thousands of young people and integrate them into the professional market.
In three months: launching Platform version 1.0
In six months: to implant in 5 schools, to train 50 educators, to impact 5 thousand students, to conquer 5 IES partners and 5 partner companies, to build a network of 100 professionals, to hire a full time team
In nine months: to train, take to other cities, capture 5 new schools, train 50 educators, impact 5 thousand students, win 5 IES partners and 5 partner companies, build
In 12 months: launch the Platform version 2.0 and prepare to draw
I believe that as more schools join the solution, more young people will be impacted. As we transform into the lives of these students, other students will also look for the platform, which provides in part for free access to students in general. It will have a paid session and others free which will attract more and more students, regardless of your social class or educational institution enrolled or not.

The school buys the license from the platform to pay monthly. In addition to the platform, the student will have guidance from a facilitator that will happen personally and weekly. The implantation will be through: training of educators and students of access and usability, meetings with psychologists, coaches and professionals of the respective modules. Access will be required 1x per week, but can be accessed daily at any time, by computer or mobile, at home or at school.
With the digital platform we have not yet reached users, our expectation is to reach approximately 1,000 users in the next three months. For the time being, we impacted approximately 1200 young people engaged in actions taken by the startup (still as a social project) in the last two years with a Meeting of Professions for preschool students and a vocational and professional orientation program.
Of a population of approximately 10 million students, we want in 12 months to reach 0.1%, having a very pessimistic scenario. But we believe that this growth can be quickly overcome through our growth strategy, which will be via schools. Growing 0.1% a year, without losses, in a pessimistic scenario, we are talking about impacting approximately 30 thousand students, but, comparing with similar startups that entered the market recently, that reached in two years 10% with financial support), we have good growth expectations to reach the 1 million mark.

I have already served clients from the Education sectors. Two years ago I developed the Encounter Educa, having the opportunity to talk to 5,000 young people, visiting dozens of educational institutions. For 10 years I have acted as a mentor. The tech professional has mentored young people for five years and has experience in developing digital applications. Coach has more than 20 years of experience in counseling professionals and the psychologist with more than 20 years of service and service to adolescents.
The recipe template is simple. We will make the sale of the license per student Each module will cost 12x R$ 9.98 per student, totaling R$ 119.76 / year, and it is necessary for the school to enroll at least 3 basic modules, or R $ 29.94 per student / month. Every 100 acquisitions, we are talking about an annual revenue of R$ 35,928. For the digital platform, costs will be reduced. Our greatest costs will be human capital.
Mainly through mentoring and networking. Learning with professionals that are in the startups ecosystem will be incredible and certainly essential for this project to advance and achieve its main goal that is to impact and transform the lives of dozens of young, from Brazil, and why not, the world.
My greatest difficulty is developing the technology with little financial resources and making the first sales of the solution. I believe that Solve can help me with these connections.
