Street Beats Foundation

I will us the fundings to support the organization in extending the programs to the rest of the communities in South Sudan for implementing the Corona awareness programs of Street Beats Foundation. 

The funds will help in the. 

1. Production of jingles, songs, short messages, and videos for the messages.  

2. Disemination of the messages to the media and the rural ereas

3. Printing of visibility materials like T. Shirts, posters, fliers, banners, and many more

4. Publicity and advertising the programs and radio and TV airtime for talk shows 

5. Payment of incentives to volunteers 

6. Transportation and accommodation both air and road. 

7. Preparing a mobile clinic van for emergency

8. Internet and communication for the project staffs 

I am a musician commonly known by the music name Yuppie Jay from South Sudan and the executive Director of Street Beats Foundation South Sudan. I have been in the music industry for 10 years since 2010 after completing my diploma in social works and social administration from Uganda. I use my music as a tool to empower Transform and Innovate Communities  and to act as voice of the voiceless.

Street beats organization's goal empower Transform and Innovate Communities in South Sudan and to promote health, child protection, peacebuilding, youths empowerment, education, culture and creative industry. 

The COVID-19 pendamic is currently the most pressing issue in the world which is why it's called a global pandemic that calls for global support and participation in it's prevention measures. 

The world health organization is doing it's part but we insist that everyone must play a role in preventing and protecting themselves, families, and communities 

In 2020 April, Street Beats Foundation managed to engage the musicians in fighting the global pandemic by raising massive awareness through music and mobile miking. Sponsored by Street Beats Foundation in collaboration with UNICEF through The rescue initiative South Sudan.  Which we wish to extend the project a wider range 

Currently there is no organization that engages cultural activists in promoting health in our country so we are unique because we use our voices to reach the underground people atvthe villages and act as voices of the voiceless in South. Sudan and Africa at large.

We always reach to the grassroots at the rural level to implement programs that address their problems
