Vision and Purpose:
SHARN HOME LTD'S vision is to have a society where vulnerable people have access to protection, development and opportunity.
Its purpose is to transform lives positively by improving livelihoods of vulnerable people especially women and girls through capacity building, counselling and by rendering help to the needy while providing every support possible financially, physically and physiologically and by establishing shelter for the homeless mothers, young girls, orphans and all needy people.
Goals:
Our goals are to eradicate poverty in my community and the society at large and to empower women and girls who are hopeless, jobless and homeless due to poverty and inequality providing them with support to acquire knowledge and skills, funding them to start small businesses, financially supporting those who already have small businesses running to be able to generate more income raising their self esteem and improving their social stability and confidence.
This organisation is to solve the problem of poverty and gender inequality specifically for women and girls who are treated with so much disregard in the society due to lack of resources to sustain them.
Uganda has experienced increasing regional inequalities since 1990s while extreme poverty at the national level has generally declined but not necessarily in the whole country meaning that in many parts of the country , people are suffering extreme poverty where the basic needs are difficult to acquire due to lack of enough resources.
The number of people suffering poverty depends on region to region, for example people living in the rural areas suffer more poverty than the ones in the urban areas because there are not enough resources to carter for their needs.
SHARN HOME LTD as an organisation is helping the needy providing them with food and clothing at the moment due to lack of enough funds to do more to the community. Physically, we are supporting women and girls by identifying the girls and women who have lost hope and giving good counsel and mentorship .
SHARN HOME LTD is aiming at giving the needy hope and reason to live providing physical, financial and physiological support by addressing the different causes of poverty and inequality accordingly to improve the livelihood of each individual that will be reached.
This organisation hopes to eradicate poverty in society through women empowerment supporting women businesses and creating job opportunities for the girls on the streets who dropped out of school due to poverty and minimizing illiteracy, prostitution, early pregnancy and marriages and also early child labor where many young girls have ended up as house helps in people's homes at an early age.
SHARN HOME LTD is apparently creating a great impact on humanity because it is providing food and clothing to the poor reducing hunger and lack.
This organisation hopes to effectively impact the community providing financial support to jobless women and girls to create income enabling them start small businesses, train in different skills, empowering them with knowledge of how to work and earn income to sustain their families and live more descent lives hence reducing poverty.
As an organisation, we are looking at purchasing equipment to facilitate the training of skills like baking and pastry, tailoring and fashion designing, hairdressing, etc, employing well trained people to teach women and girls how to use the equipment and giving out the equipment to all individuals trained in different skills respectively and funding them to start small businesses to reduce poverty and inequality.
The organisation is also looking at providing the physiological needs to the poor in society which include food, shelter, clothing and better health services for the sick especially pregnant women in rural areas including safe transport means which is a big factor that contributes to the death of pregnant women failing to reach hospitals in time during delivery.
