Youth for Change int.

Youth for Change will increase the production of biomass wastes briquettes technology to meet the demand for charcoal briquettes hence reducing deforestation and improper disposal of human wastes and agricultural residue's in Malawi including in some water bodies which are contaminated by wastes.

We will increase the capacity building by engaging ourselves to different stakeholders such as the ministry of forestry and natural resources to gain access to information about environmental protection.

Additional resources will be purchased hence increasing the production and expansion of depots where people in Malawi will easily have an access to our products.

Youth for Change is a registered organization aimed at eradicating environmental challenges hence contributing to ways and means for climate change and balancing up the ecosystem.

We started operations in 2018 and so far we have achieved in different projects such as involvement of the youth in agriculture and food security, planting trees in different areas of malawi such as Ndangopuma and chinamwali hills.

Providing biomass as an alternative to wood charcoal using in Malawi. Using agricultural wastes converted into charcoal briquettes to provide much needed source of cheap fuel that is cleaner in burning. It is also intended to create awareness of agricultural wastes briquettes technology in Malawi and to make use of the technology by small scale Entrepreneurs.

Youth for Change seeks to address these issues because Billions of tons of agricultural residue's are generated each year in the developing and developed countries. This volume of biodegradable wastes can be converted to an enormous amount of energy and raw materials. 

At Youth for Change we are already implementing the project by providing biomass briquettes carbonized one's to the communities in both urban and rural areas. 

Youth for Change uses the locally available materials to come up with biomass briquettes which are shaped into different shapes hence more attractive to the communities. The briquettes are packed accordingly hence innovative.

The use of biomass wastes into briquettes is so unique more especially on carbonization process. 

1: gender equality, youth for Change has both sides of employees such that women, girls and men are employed to bring the difference in the program hence achieving the project goals.

2: involvement of stakeholders like the ministry of forestry and natural resources has played a great role hence Making the project effective.
